Yeah you're right, are dark fina or seabreeze dark fina any good as finishers? Or at all? They've been my only 5*s, the guaranteed one included. Never thought about using a finisher before.
Yeah I dunno what I was doing during her banner but I think I wasn't playing then. I was a noob during the XIV raid too so I don't have enough mats to 6* Yshtola either. No refia or DC either.

sorry, refia's weakness was always no dual cast and ysholta's boon was her lb. Now that rikku is out, ysholta's value dropped. She was great with dual wielding her exclusive staff but she's sadly getting closer and closer to bench.

That's only because they haven't applied SPR to holy magic yet. Check out Y'shtola's enhancement in JP. Her entire SPR adds to her mag as damage. She'll become a great offensive light magic and healer at the same time.
