many years ago the GTR and the Corvette were head to head, as you know, most amerifats are extremely jingoistic, and they simply couldn't deal with the fact that the GTR could keep up, one day Nissan released this video , where it lapped the ring faster than any corvette has ever done and all hell broke loose. Amerimutts simply couldn't deal with it, they came up with as many excuses as possible, including claiming that the video was fake and that the car was not production. This effect was potentiated by the fact that GM literally failed to even set a laptime around the ring 3 times, crashing in the first try

The second part of this adventure was when Motortrend did a head 2 head comparison (adding pic after this post) Where the GTR won fair and clean against the Corvette, this caused an even more intense butthurt on the Corvette shitters, even GM themselves released a statement saying that the car was misaligned and that the laptime was not valid. For almost a year Corvette shitters took it up the ass because of this

Then, you would assume that GM as a corporation would get their shit together, and actually, for the first time ever, would decide to fix the problems plaguing their cars. But they didn't Motortrend does a massive car comparison where the corvette failed to compete, it failed in a terrible manner, it couldn't even produce boost and it was all reproted by Motortrend. This was the final nail on the coffin. There was, and still is, simply no way for GM and it's fanboys to recover. The argument was done, the GTR had won, Of course you still have shitters like Prez/o/ or the GM cuckbois who post Anonymously trying to defend it, but they simply cannot compete nor defend themselves, everytime that anyone starts a thread about the GTR and the Corvette you get this massive influx of red.ditors and GM shitters begging the mods to delete these threads. I am actually surprised this one has survived for this long.

The funny part is that this has not finished, when the Corvette cuckbois tried to disregard the Nismo GTR record, they claimed that the N-Attack package was not street legal (which it is, as there are pics of GTRs with the Nattack with japanese plates). Now the sad part here is that GM themselves have now accepted that the new ZR1 is not street legal, which means that the Corvette shitters themselves will have to engage in massive amounts of mental gymnastics to be able to defend the new record, (if GM actually manages to pull it off of course). Basically in the future we can expect tons and tons of butthurt GM shitters trying to defend a record that is invalid, based on their own criteria that they came up with when trying to disregard the GTR.

GM isn't the worst thing ever. They made the Chevy Bolt and the Chevy Spark. Both of them are far better than any other electric car when you consider the price. And considering Ford has no viable electric alternatives to it the bolt is bretty good. Not to mention the excellent reliability of GM's all electric cars
