Mind if I throw in a question about the original PSO here?

I've played so much of this game and yet I've never tried episode 2 or episode 4.
When am I supposed to be giving them a go?
I've just started playing again and I literally do not have a clue where they fit in. I want to find out before I out level them or something. I'd really appreciate if somebody could give me a list like Forest > Cave > Temple > Whatever > Whatever etc etc so I can actually play them, otherwise I'll just end up beating episode 1 again and ignoring them as usual.

Not talking about ultimate mode btw, I'm specifically wondering about the normal mode order (which I'll just copy for each higher difficulty I get to).

Off the top of my head there's zantetsuken (cheap on the visiphone, but covered in spikes so the katana shape is lost a little) and the unsheathed version of Regius' sword (beat any story episode before 4 to get the ticket to buy it at Zeig)

From what i recall, the difficulty of Episode 2 is overlapping at the end of Episode 1. So if you play through Ep1 on Normal, you can start Ep2 on Normal, beat Ep1 on Hard and you can go into Ep2 on Hard etc.

Regius's sword is nice, but i dont like having the huge box on my back

Anyone have any reason to actually spend all the SGs we're getting?

It's a speedhack that's existed for a while but never really mattered much since normal attack spamming like this was never worth it. This guy has it improperly set up too, you can make it so you do the full combo JA'd and it's more dps than BHS spam. Expect bans

Does attack advance ring work with hero? I'm getting mixed answers from my team and no one seems to know for sure

Like it says in the 3rd tab it wont work for hero,your team is a bunch of retards

It says in the third tab it won't apply to Hero, why they didn't just add the icon for it in the second tab i'm not sure

why do some people have super obvious katana gear activation animations, like the purple blades extend in a huge radius around them, while for me it seems like i can barely see it

So does everyone suffer from this problem? I'm just wondering if it's my graphics settings or if the game is always like this. My screen is a blinding mess of white flashing lights most of the time, in 12/12 EQ runs.

I dont know why they didnt make that shit grayed out like it is for other classes that cant use it.

That's normal for maxed out settings but there is an option to reduce the effects though it disables a lot of casting spell effects from you too.

So what would you say are the optimal settings to use, to have a somewhat nice looking game while still actually being able to see?

As a FO is it worth grinding a queen viera?

Force is basically unplayable without a queen viera

As a FO it's worth switching to Hero.

It's 100% worth it if you intend on playing Force. Of course, it's a better idea to follow the advice of because it's a better caster than Force is and Force is now bouncer tier in that it needs conditionals and gear out the ass just to do low damage compared to good classes that are good in every situation.

Yes and no. If you have EPD you don't need any other rods, but you lose the utility of talis and you still need ice/fire/lightning mastery in Force tree.

Aura has a higher damage multiplier (16%) and a big 30% PP regen bonus though. Is the Qliphad's affix bonus worth more than that?
