Why would you even care what someone thinks about a certain model of car? Especially when it's a term that has quickly degraded into a description of whatever a poster doesn't like.

I haven't got any nice cars, but I buy a lot of guns and it's the same feeling. The research phase and looking around for a dealer who has the item I want is much more exciting than actually owning it. After I buy the gun I want I'm looking at another one a week later.

That may or not be true, but because it's such a meme, the majority of people will probably think negatively of anyone in that age range driving that kind of car.
