as far as i know the only thing worth selling right now is aethersands and perhaps some fish for CUL recipes but not sure about that

usually the other gatherers are way better for gil..

yes, try and fish up Ivory sole. those sell fast on my server.

Mining and Botany is pretty reliable but you can turn a profit off of fishing since there's still lots of people getting into levelling their crafting and such and your fish might just be the ingredient they need. Sea Lamps for example seem to sell pretty well, but there's still plenty of other stuff too.

Also there are some unique Minions you can only get from fishing and they actually sell pretty good and pretty often.

What glamour items are there for bikini bottoms/panties? There seems to be a lot of bikini sets
