So now that Norsca has confirmed CA can use factions that didn't have an army in 8th, rate the potential other factions based on how likely you think they are to get in and why.

Pretty much guaranteed tier:
>Chaos Dwarfs
Popular, have a full forgeworld army they can supplement with old shit, were already leaked in the outdated but accurate Russian leak, and flesh out the dark lands so it's not just Ogres and Greenskins out there.

Likely Tier:
>Araby
>Kislev
I put them on the same tier for slightly different reasons. Araby is less popular and didn't have the units from the actual tabletop Kislev had, but is in a perfect position to be added as game 2 DLC (in addition to the Warmaster army). Kislev is more popular, had models in the tabletop, AND had that Warmaster army, but they're firmly in the Old World we're now leaving behind. I'm not sure how they'd deal with adding them in, though I'm pretty sure they will in some capacity.

Possible Tier:
>Southern Realms/Dogs of War
>Nagash
Southern Realms CAN be added in TWW2 due to the colonies in Lustria, but they'd have to do a lot of thinking to get them to work. A full Dogs of War army instead has you wonder how an army of mercenaries would even function in a game of conquest. Nagash being added as his own faction would be interesting, but I'm not sure they'd want to just smash Kangs and Counts together. It might require using End Times units to get working, which could piss people off.

About that...

Don't know anything yet. If I were to guess I'd say Mazdamundi (who will probably also be the the faction leader) will start in Hexoatl. Maybe they'll do the same thing they did with Teclis and start Kroq'Gar really far from the other Lord, further south or perhaps even in the Southlands on some expedition or somehting.

I'm not super familiar with them though so feel free to tell me what a faggot I am and how they totally could. As for Cathay, hear me out. The Throne of Tamurkhan had a section where the chaos armies attacked a distant watch tower owned by Cathay, right? They could do something like that, using the forces described as defending it as a base for the army, with Cathayan watch posts or expeditionary forces. It's a long shot I know, but it could help flesh out the third game.

Chaos Dwarfs will probably get in. CA has at the very least acknowledged (even if it was literally only "It's not Kislev, sorry!") the interest for a Kislev DLC when they announced that they'd make one more DLC for TWW1. So I'm reasonably sure they'll get one, eventually.

I really hope, and think, that Araby will get something. It'd be really fucking lame if they're just Empire units with a faction leader that has a different voice, like vanilla Kislev. Of course, CA could just not include the area Araby is in on launch and only add them when TK come.

Cathay, Nippon, Ind and the Southern Realms are very unlikely, I think.

Southern realms will be far more likely than the easternmost factions.
They are already in the game
They have their unique lines, same as kislev.
There is a ton of data about them.
