plane ticket

A sport bike

beat me to it

Well terminal velocity is like 120mph off a building, so yeah a plane ticket.

Probably a newer car with an LS motor and then disabling the limiter.

Of course, you'd want to make sure that the car can handle moving at 200mph and be able to slow down safely so some light but knowledgeable modding to the suspension and brakes is highly recommended.

This for owing something and

This for just going it, maybe some bullet train can do it too, not sure.

Sure, if you live in a pleb country that doesn't have a bullet train.

If you live in Japan, you can get yourself a Shinkansen ticket taking you from Tokyo to Osaka for ~$120 and travel at a speed of 320km/h.

...

Gotta disable the limiter if it's a japanese bike, though. IIRC, they're capped somewhere around 160 for reasons of 'please don't kill our customers'.

In a car you fucking faggots, god damn.

179mph/299km/h Gentlemens agreement of sorts, before govt imposed restrictions they couldn't avoid.

OP didn't specify what mode of transport, go fuck yourself.

>terminal velocity is like 120mph
That's in the basic freefall position. It's used to go slow and stable by creating a lot of drag.

It's possible to have a Vt much higher approaching 300mph with the right equipment and body position.

Interesting. I did think 120 was a bit slow, what with wingsuiters getting ridiculous 4:1 ratios.

>on fucking Veeky Forums

Go fuck yourself back to plebbit, you pedantic self-congratulating fuck.

>Double spacing
>gb2plebbit

you can get a plane ticket for less than that.

E39 m5 with a supercharger

Thank you for actually answering.

>Complaining about spacing on a shit website worth $50k

pre-restriction era Suzuki Hayabusa
some examples have been known to go 201mph stock

I was going to say something like a C5 Vette with a supercharger or turbo.

Also, keeping with the M5 theme, an E60 will do 205 with nothing but the limiter removed.

They're as low as £10k in the UK now, but the V10 is potentially a moneypit

>complaining about the value of a Mongolian throat singing forum

you could probably buy a cheap beat stock one which will get you to 200mph easily

Miata swap

nig busa

e class or bimmer with supercharger
also vette with charger

$5000 300zx twin turbo
$5000 in mods
differential out of a Q45 with lower ratio. Otherwise you're topping out at 190 or so due to gearing.

add another zero to mods for a z32 to get even near 200mph

Exactly my thought too, although on a budget some spray would be cheaper.

1) get m3! 2) get bigger rear wheels & tires! 3) get racing clutch & modify transmission! 4) turbocharge! 5) tune! Now you have a 200mph car

I never said anything about stopping or being comfortable at that speed. ;) But I think $5000 would buy enough engine mods to run 500hp or so on cheater E85 and to get the gearing in order.

Take shitbox Camaro from 90's. Put carbed 454, then super fucking tall gears in a 6 speed trans, then a Winters rear end with more super tall gearing. Your 0-60 will be trash, but you'll be a highway Slayer. Just ugly as sin. All can be done for around 10k. That or buy a gsx-r 1000(the fuckboy of motorcycles) and put a tall sprocket on it.

ok let me just get a flight across the planet to take a train that's not as fast as the plane i took to get there

sounds like a plan

i don't know where you got those numbers from but it's 110~mph max

So so far we've got

>anything GM with an LS
>BMWs
>Mercedes
>Z32

You must be thinking of cars in Japan limited to 180kmh. Bikes are limited to 299, dork.

Or at least only in Japan they're limited to 180, the big 4 happily restrict to 299 globally.

3k civic with a few simple mods

3k civic with a massive homemade pulsejet on the back

...

Why do they do that? And can it be disabled

idk throw a turbo charged junkyard ls into a 500 dollar firebird roller from the 90s and get some high rear end gears

eh

Get a mustang or something with massive diff gears.

>david bowie fan

>tfw I used to unironically listen to throat singing back in 2004

it might be able to do it, those 4th gen firebirds especially the early ones which im talking about are ugly as sin but aerodynamic and cheap, the ls is a pushrod v8 so it can't really rev but make torque that's the main reason i recommended the high gearing

junkyard LS + turbo

More like 10k for mods
>3k for turbos
>1k for nismo 740ccs
>2k for haltech
>2k for full exhaust
>200 for intake
>1k for a set of y or z rated sports tires

Shit, $15k to own a 200 mph wangan machine, not a bad deal.

A shitty old motorbike with some recycle coke cans for pistons....

next level cheep skate
art arfons said that burt could make a 1$ part work where an 11$ part is needed

OP was talking about the cheapest route, not the smartest one
>1k for used sport 500s
>300 for AMS manifolds
>500 for used 740ccs and new style conversion kit
>300 for chipped ECU. E85 tune.
>150 for ebay down and test pipes into no rear section
>400 for dual intakes and selin
>200 for intercooler delete pipes
>1k for tires
>500 for clutch to handle the extra power
>400 for Q45 diff swap

You better do the run on the salt flats or something because the car will be super unstable at speed and will take a lot of room to slow down with the stock brakes. But, hey, this is my answer.

Nyoro~n

overhaul your gearbox for $500 so the gear ratios are huge and a the same for the final drive. Insist on a 160mph rolling start whenever you race it.

for punctualitys sake i may as well as at some point mrcrummy or whatever that furfags called is gonna post about his 'junkyard ls motor he got to 600hp for under a grand' that can probably hit a billion miles per hour and has cannons and go invisible
ignore him

so dumb

Yeah I missed the diff but surely no intercooler would be a no no. If anything you would want to upgrade to the big dick Z1 side mounts or an hks FMIC

vl turbo

What's the cheapest path to 350 mph?

NASCAR rolling chassis $7000
Crate engine ~$10k

youtube.com/watch?v=mtNPev6vRpo&t=105s

3k civic with mods

$14k R33 Gtr

A decommissioned F-104 Starfighter.

Don't even need a crate engine, just drop a rebuilt windsor and add a turbo

m.youtube.com/watch?v=j0grAyJGoGg

i mean while still being on ground

btw
>maintenance queen
>expensive as fuck
>shit fuel economy
>pigfat
>can't turn
>need to stored in hangar

>maintenance queen
Mostly stemming from early generation engines and the gun, get a newer engine and lose the gun.
>expensive as fuck
350 mph ain't cheap, but this is the cheapest way to it.
>shit fuel economy
Engine swap
>pigfat
It's a single seat, single engine interceptor. How much lighter do you need?
>can't turn
Turning is for fags.
>need to stored in hangar
Too poor to hanger your vintage jet fighter? You're too poor to own one.

Shelby GT500

Probably some ancient surplus slaviet jet fighter.

Thanks for pointing me to the superior board.

What is the cheapest, brand new vehicle you can buy new today that will do 200mph right out of the box? Charger Hellcat?

C6 RS6. Might be able to this stock, but it's also one of the cheapest ways to get a 700hp Autobahn monster.

2 0 0

...

Steal some retard's Lambo.

It looks cool you stupid retard

If you insist.

suck smokeys dick for ride

>Turning is for fags.
>unironically posting this on japanese touge tofu delivery revival forum

It's stupid easy to disable trust me

;

OK say you go the Corvette C5 route. Not a bad start considering it has a low drag coefficient (the most important factor) and can easily be bought for under 10k. Should be a MT.

Strip as much weight as possible
Doesn't effect top speed much but will get you there a little faster
Delete a/c, power steering etc.
Anything that's unnecesary and robs the car of power or adds weight.

Choose your wheels and tires. Probably want larger, lighter wheels. Go narrower too for less drag. Tires need to be rated for the speed. Blow them up as high as you safely can, that will reduce rolling resistance. Changing the tire size affects the overall final drive ratio, but start with the tires that will be best and you can swap the ring and pinion later if needed.

Improve aerodynamics. A carefully chosen aero kit might help. Underbody panels can reduce drag. Close off brake ducts if there are any. Tape every seem- doors, hood etc. Might try to seal up the front grill as much as possible but not so much the engine overheats.

You also need the right gearing. You'll want to be able to do 200mph in the top gear just 1-200 rpm past peak horsepower. That usually works the best. Use the correct final drive ratio to achieve that. You can use a calculator to figure out what gear you need.

Lastly, you'll need more power. My guess is around 500-560hp. Going NA would be best for our purposes but FI will work too.

If it doesn't hit 200, I'd look at aerodynamics. Again, a low drag coefficient is the best way to hit higher speeds.

I don't get this that good writing formating is somehow reddit?

it sure is!

>going 120 in second gear
Hey I think we're gonna make it!
>throw it in 3rd
>engine bogs and you start slowing down
nope

Guys, tall gearing isn't the only thing it takes to hit 200.

no liter no peter

rent an exotic

I am rotard man, so it's sin, but
FCs have a super low drag coefficient and the area is pretty small and you can get shells for like 1k all day.
turbo LS FC would probably be under 10k.

second hand busa and an ebay turbo

doubles as the fastest pat to death
