First for in hindsight I should have made a new year-themed OP.
Eli Jenkins
>tfw i bought a suzuki
Leo Diaz
I will ride with anyone in Cambridge, Bedfordshire or Milton Keynes
Anyone local?
Caleb Powell
>spend 300 dollarydoos on Kevlar jeans >They fall apart >Store says they have to send it to manufacture, could take weeks Fuck me, I thought they'd just replace them on the spot.
Nolan Lewis
>be nocar >insurance slips me an offer to insure a car on my bike's policy >look up some cars >Realize that according to my company an rx8 is a 1300cc 2 cylinder car >Literally cheaper to insure than a GSA or fjr should I?
Michael Scott
big spoon or little spoon?
Thomas Gray
At least it wasn't new, was it?
Dylan Miller
I bought a pair of stretch denim jeans that are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn but I can now never crash because they won't protect me from anything.
Henry Morris
I'm not far off; down in Reading, but I'm looking to make longer trips.
What do you ride?
Jeremiah Flores
Do it, faggot. Even if only for the industrial liquidificator under the hood.
Lucas Carter
Reading is a bit too far to justify a few hours of riding, unless you know of anywhere particularly worth going. I ride a 125... so that too..
Little ofc
Christopher Richardson
sorry guys I never understood this meme why are we hating on suzuki exactly?
Camden Jenkins
just shitpost harder so there will be another thread before new years eve
Andrew Hernandez
Need some good motorbike related youtube vids to watch boys
Jaxson Scott
>I ride a 125 Fuck that, then. I'll look for decent roads up your way; long trips on a 125 are suffering. There's a bunch of nice dual carriageways around Cambridge, but I despise the traffic calming in that fucking city.
Pick out a few hours' riding on nice roads you know, and I'll check it on google maps. I'm not long off a 125 myself, but I can ease off the gas a little to avoid leaving you begind.
Seems to me like people form arbitrary brand loyalties to their first bike.
Sebastian Robinson
>2:20:30
Adrian Reyes
Duration isn't so much an issue for me, I remember the first day I got my bike, I did my CBT early morning, went home, got taxed and insured and then rode my bike for an additional 8 hours, was on the road for about 12-14 hours overall. Loved every moment of it.
I mean, I can at least promise that I can maintain at least 70mph, assuming conditions are good. I'll have to come back to you later on in this thread or something as I have to go now though. Didn't expect a reply so soon, I was going to reply at the back end of the day desu.
I'm not all too familiar with Cambridge roads, but road signs aren't particularly hard to follow either so no biggie.
Anthony Cruz
Just sew them yourself in the future, using the blown stitch as a guideline. Kevlar clothes are generally sewn together with normal thread and machine sewing is really flimsy to boot.
Get proper heavy cotton/aramid thread though. Normal thin polyester stuff from the corner pharmacy barely cuts it for normal sewing as it is, let alone anything protective
>stretch denim lmao are you one of those adult baby people or somethin
Ryder Wilson
I rode from the Netherlands to Prague on my Varadero 125 a few months ago. Only took back roads and stopped halfway to sleep. Had a great time, 10/10 would recommend.
>I can maintain at least 70mph Doubt that on a 125, but I seldom get above that on regular twisties because I just don't know my bike well enough to do 80+ yet.
I'm still building muscle for my new bike's riding position, so stops every hour or two will be a must, so I can un-kink joints.
Jaxon Garcia
I've had two-stroke scooters that can hit 70
Jaxson Williams
Tell me anons - why don't you ride the fastest accelerating production vehicle of the 20th century? Pic related.
Brandon Thomas
How many Dutch anons are there itt actually? I've seen about three of four post, given the 1% rule, there might be enough for a meetup in the southern hills this summer.
Alexander Sullivan
because the nanny state won't let me and I bet they're not great for the autobahn without fairing
Jace Diaz
130kph cruising is just fine, anything above that becomes annoying in terms of wind. The real party piece is getting to 130 though.
Cameron Rogers

William Rogers
200kph on my nekid is a bit exhausting but you can handle

>I'll have to come back to you later on in this thread or something as I have to go now though. Didn't expect a reply so soon, I was going to reply at the back end of the day desu. See you in the next thread, then. I shall dub thee 'cambridgeshite 125 user'.
Aaron Parker
it's the old Chevy guy shits in Fords game.
and Ford guys hate on Chevy's.
some old timers will literally follow you home from a random place and bitch at you because of something they saw on your truck doesn't match their perceived version of the ideal brand representation
Parker Wright
>>Suzuki >Sexual finally, someone understands
Jace Allen
Thats never happend to you and never will.
Samuel Jones
In general >heavier >slower >poor build quality >less reliable Than all their competition. They just aren't worth wasting money on.
Jack Miller
>being poor and not wasting money on more toys Ha!
Gavin Nelson
Poor people buy Suzuki They are the cheapest (poor quality) brand.
Jaxon Richardson
>people don't own multiple brands and styles of bikes It's like you hate fun
Eli Howard
Anything Suzuki does, someone else does better. It's got nothing to do with fun
Dominic Collins

Aiden Phillips
Sweet opinion
Luis Jackson
Sure showed me
Ryder Sullivan
As is yours
Elijah Phillips
Not even him. He posted facts however. You're just mad and want to poke fun
Eli Howard
>XR650 The L might be the successor to my 350 if it ever comes to that. Not like there'll be any new true dual sports in the future. My only gripe would be height, weight, and that used ones are overpriced. Most used ones were never ridden though so there's that. I love my DR because it has ample power, sits around 300lbs, AND it gets 65-70mpg depending on how I ride. It'll hold 70mph all day on the highway and can do 80mph passes if needed. Not too large, not too small; perfect. I'd like to see the 07. I want one.
Jackson Roberts

Jonathan Robinson
specifically? bad paint, and their spares are insanely overpriced; if you're using factory parts it's more expensive to repair a suzuki than an aprilia!
Jack Clark
>comes pre rusted from the factory Kek
Jaxon Rogers
Mmmmmm
Thomas Bailey
Aprilia uses Suzuki parts tho
Blake Jackson
show me your 2017 R1 or S1000
Eli Roberts
Where can I compare prices?
Lucas Stewart
Dealerships, really You can get a rough estimate on online configurators, but that's without bonuses or dealer fees
Josiah Garcia
This thread is full of Yamaha fanboys who think they're hot shit for riding a large displacement ptwin
Elijah Campbell
>gets mad at a facts Suzuki fags never fail to amuse me with their ignorance
Gabriel Price
Wait, what? What large displacement p-twin does Yamaha make?
Isaac Roberts
07 series doesn't ring any bells? >MT07 >Tracer 700 >soon to arrive Tenere 700, which everybody is drooling over
Especially with the 790 Adv coming soon too... Lol
Kayden Clark
>60 hp
Lmao, the 689cc p-twin makes 74 hp, While the old Minarelli 660 thumper made 48, to comply with the A2 license.
>48 hp >over 200 kgs >off road worthy
Samuel Hall
>660cc off roading motorcycle >followed by a 689cc one >KTM makes a 790
How long till they'll all go full BMW mode and make 1200cc+ "off roading" bikes.
I mean, Honda already copied the asymetrical headlight from BMW.
Aiden Lopez
o.O Those headlights look janky yet not bad
Bentley Cooper
>retards badge whore benchracing mostly about irrelevant new bikes like whatever the fuck this is why do i come here again
Logan Martin
>why do i come here again
Because you have no friends and nowhere to go to on new years eve.
Bentley Phillips
Honda copied it's own Dakar bike.
As for your question, Yamaha already has a 1200cc 'off road' bike ( ), Honda has a 1000cc one and Triumph is up there with them, too. And don't forget Ducati's Multistrada.
Nicholas Wilson
The guys who race these things have some huge nuts. Saw a group of ADV guys while I was dirtbiking and they were hauling ass. Terrifying as hell man
