Not even close. He only scales well into late as a 1v1 champion, as long as his kit requires him to build zero defense and run into the entire enemy team he won't do well late.

Lategame scalling little matters ,it shouldnt be a deciding factor when drafting in soloq since the game might have already ended by midgame or your draft might be already losing lategame to the enemy even with a very hard scalling champion,that being said Azir is the hardest scalling mid champ,probably the hardest in game,but isnt worth jack till late,some lanes he might be okay in but mostly loses and by midgame you still are missing some vital stats still,when every piece is there tho the only way Azir will lose is if he fucks up

You would think so with the whole ultimate power thing, but Xerath's scalings are actually quite poor and he gets fucked harder than any other mage in the game by baron empowered minions. A lot of the power of his spells is in the base damage values and not so much the scaling. He also has no passive lategame comparatively to other mages like Ziggs, Karthus, Lux, or Brand who all have incredible late game passives.

Lux passive is free 350+ damage to her combo late game on a single target, more when shes finishing off some of the melees or what not she can auto safely

Xerath's passive is 100% just there to make it so he has to run forward out from behind his tower to chuck a peanut at something to stay in business. His mana costs are so crazy you can't get around it. It's why he's unpopular if I had to venture a guess, it feels really awful to have a passive that is designed to get you killed more often so you can do your thing.

i think it is tied to the amount of wins and not honors,just as you hover above the icon it says just by playing to win in match made games

You get honors passively, honor ups only make it slightly faster.

Basically everyone should get to the higher honor levels eventually unless they get reported and get punished by Daddy Riot.

Consciously do the opposite instead, you should be as hard on yourself as possible because you're the only person that you can control on your team.

Meanwhile even if the other people on your team are idiots there's really nothing you can do about it. Getting tilted and flaming them is more likley than not going to make them play worse rather than better. Instead try to be encouraging and keep things positive.
