H-Maids is not played much, I don't know anything about them but I guess they suck.

C and F are pretty different. C just lets you switch between the two characters and use assists as a special move. The closest one to Zato is F because you have an actual assist meter that you have to recharge or your assist falls down for a while. F also makes you position your assist character more and gives you more control on what they do. You can still switch between point and assist though, unlike Zato.

Jus played a set in Ranked for the first time in months. I almost lost the set because i was too worried about losing points, its embarrassing.

Man I finished all the 9 routes of tsukihime last week in like 5 days, I just wanted to know about the nasuverse and worldbuilding but I only got a bunch of sob stories and a little information about vampires.
I'm so mad.

And Aoko did literally nothing and was still best girl.

a lot of our most capable players in sf4 would just go to marvel or whatever paid the most for the least amount of effort/competition when they didn't like whatever the current version of sf4 was
fchamp, justin, ricky would all just play other shit so they could get paid, or maybe it was enough for them just to win/place high at majors

we had other good players in sf4 but they either weren't super top tier status or they came in too late and just couldn't get caught up with guys like infiltration, tokido, daigo, etc who had been playing sf4 in tournaments from the time it came out

unfortunately for you that's where it all began so there's two things you can do: be a filthy secondary
or watch the anime adaptations of each route and be called a filthy secondary, or just read it (fate is pretty boring i'll admit)
you could also read every other spin off since they are more interesting than F/SN but you might be a bit lost, and most of them aren't translated. as for the nasuverse, think of Melty as the cousin no one talks about but one day shows up on your doorstep and your mom tells you to be nice to; melty and tsukihime are that cousin, and they'll come to our doorstep with the remake (lmao)

If you play enough and are decent then over a longer period you will rank up, it's pretty much impossible to get stuck at a rank.

Due to points inflation, 3000-4000 LP is the same skill as what 1500-2000 was at launch.

Probably because it's a bit too bright and it makes the character not stand out. By adding that fog they make the action easier to see and the characters stand out from the stage.

It's bad execution still but I can see the reason why they did so.
