OP if you're moving here from Denmark, move down south. Victoria, or maybe SA. Even down the bottom of the country it gets fucking atrociously hot during summer. You may feel like 40c isn't that hot, but it's generally because of the fucked ozone that it's so bad. The sun is just generally harsher here than anywhere else I've been in the world. It'll almost always be 40c in the shade, 46c in the sun. If you think you can stand that then knock yourself out. On the up side we've had a really cool year here in Vic in 2017, and summer this year is looking pretty alright. You get a fair bit of rain now and then in Vic too, and it gets cold in winter, but not COLD cold.

Car scene is a weird thing here. Easy enough to get into, but you're allowed to be picky with who you associate with since there's a community for just about every set of cars. For example, my friend owns an import SW20 MR2(the turbo with the full roof, no targa top) and he's part of the MR2 club which is full of weirdos, because you have to just be a bit weird to own an MR2. You can find a community for just about every type of car you want. The import scene here is decently strong too, and if you just want to get some retarded Aussie muscle then there's plenty of that around too.

Overall you will find a lot of car people somewhat obnoxious if you sit at the surface level, but once you go deeper you'll always find people who genuinely care. Also, Melbourne voted most livable city in the world again, while Sydney got pushed out of the top ten. Eat shit Sydney.

Jobs are alright. Honestly, if you have some good qualifications you'll find something pretty quick.
Something to note is that cost of living is pretty high, depending on what you look at and take as essential. Up side is that if you're even partially qualified you'll be able to make good money. Hell, I used to work at a liquor store and I was making about $21 an hour lifting slabs of beer and recommending wines to people. Actually, unrelated side note, if you like a good beer or some nice wine then you'll be well looked after. Aus has a fucking exploding craft beer scene, and it's wine culture can be neatly divided into two categories: Bogans who'll drink anything with Barossa on it, and people who like actually good wines.

If you're interested in driving roads I would generally recommend the eastern/northeastern suburbs of Melbourne. I used to live around there and they're a decently short drive out to some really brilliant driving roads. Straightaways in the middle of nowhere, tight windy corner heavens, beautiful relaxing drives through scenery, whatever you want really. Don't be afraid to move a little further out as well. All the way out to the near ends of the train lines are fine. Beyond that and you'll be looking at a bigger drive if you work in the city.

R32s are much harder to find these days because of their classic stats and general desirability. There are still a few GTSTs around but the cheapest I can think of is maybe $15k AUD? I passed on an R32 a while back and I kind of regret it, even though it was an auto. Could have gotten a mint white R32 for 10k and I passed like a fucking retard.
