It was mentioned that a large number of participants were black muslim immigrants from Africa unhappy with jobs, benefits, and training. The irony in that image is that America spent years in Japan pumping in cash to help it recover and rebuild while in their own land they bled factory jobs that supported the population in Detroit. All that could left and those who stayed get blamed for shit they had nothing to do with years after it happened.

The blacks took over not only the top city government positions due to landslide majority voting demographics, but many city department and staffing positions were replaced by blacks. There was exceedingly widespread corruption and of course enforcement of laws against blacks was relaxed as compensation for the alleged decades of past racism and slavery. As a result, the crime rate skyrocketed and blacks had mini festivals of looting as well as major arson festivals such as Devil Night. The Halloween looting and arson night was also a problem. So, those who could leave did leave for the suburbs. That way, they could still keep their jobs. But the inner city was devastated since the blacks were mostly on social welfare, and that doesn't build or pay for infrastructure that they kept on regularly destroying. REGULARLY DESTROYING. Regularly destroying and then complaining and demanding more federal money. The feds did pump a lot of extra money, but things that got built or repaired then got arsoned or wrecked again. Black Lives Matter. Sure, all lives matter too. Pound for pound, the blacks had a huge amount of support that was above what whites and asians received per capita. But the aid was squandered in Detroit. Sometimes, only 15% made it to the actual purpose with all the corruption siphoning the money off along the way. Did people get rich. Yes. But it was the corrupt people.

The "dindu" and "dun care" atttitudes also contribute to the problem of corruption and crime. And lots of people say dindu because they see nothing wrong about corruption. They regard it as their just due reparation compensation. So they refused to accept any blame for it. That came out in various articles along the years in the 1990's. So I suspect that people now either don't see that history or don't want to know any history.
