Yes. Between that and his tankiness you will basically 1v1 anyone that isn't smart enough to dodge the big hit.

It's also a big plus in that more damage = more focus generation. So you'll be in the middle of a fight wailing on someone and the enemy team won't notice that 4th hit chunking everything nearby for 300 dmg. And then you just explode on them with your focus.
