Is..is this really a thing?

Time to learn about doritos, son!

kys, /v/-babby

Looks like a clutch to me.

Air goes round round ROUND ROUND

Flywheel and clutch assembly. Why did you pull the transmission off?
Also transmission jobs are the best in that game, easiest money.
Yes. Fun for a while too

Yeah but it's just a puzzle game, really.
Also they seem to think literally everything on a car will rust. OP's pic has the rust on the radiator tank.

That's a 13b good sir..

So how does this move? That thing looks like it's too big for the chamber.

...

Fucking how is it turning like that? How is that compressed air not escaping?

Also something in that diagram makes no sense because it looks like there's a bump between the two spark plugs that would fuck up the compression and cycle.

That is the dorito

>Rust on the oil filter

...

...

...

Is this thing supposed to have been found in a lake or something? Everything's rusty

that's just how the game simulates part wear.

Is this the 2018 one? I'm a fairly newby hobbyist I've done minor diagnoses and repair and shit on my cars like tranny swap headers manifolds starters alternators radiators distributors brakes supercharger install gauge cluster etc. Will this game help me learn more? For 13 bucks on steam it would be really cheap way to learn

>how's that compressed air not escaping?
The sides of the dorito are sealed with a wall.

>bump between sparkplugs
Most doritos have a small hole in each face to help with compression, but that gif isn't a rule to follow all rotary engines 100% like this. Its piss easy to move them a lil bit so that they dont scrap the dorito.

nope. teaches you jackshit, just teaches you "this thing goes on this thing"

if you want to really feel the pain go buy My Summer Car. That is some learning right there.

you need one of these.

rootes two stroke diesel puts out a lot of power and screams its head off.

some were known as commer knocker.

>being this new on Veeky Forums
you gotta lurk moar son

the good old Commer Knocker great fucking engine it is.

This.
The devs even answered that question once, that they are aware that it's not how parts wear out in real life but just for the games sake, so normos would hopefully connect the dots with what's wrong by visualizing it.
I.e compression test = bad piston rings etc
