If I play DPS and use voice chat, I get flamed and told to go back to Mercy and if I play Mercy or any support I get called a boosted slut.

This game isnt even like actual shooters so why does shit like zoom sensitivity get implemented by default when majority of the fucking cast just holds down their left mouse button and there is no permadeath for a round or ammo limits.

Overwatch is basically a closed beta in terms of balance and the roster not being fleshed out, and you're nuts if you think it takes 3.5 months for a company that wealthy to pump out a generic MOBA archetype hero

It's watching your team win because if you're talented as mercy, your teammates will be impossible to kill. My group has a guy with almost scary mercy skills. The second a junkrat bomb touches me, I hear the healbeam and wings.

It's probably because Mercy is the main choice for fucks that have never played a FPS game or play on potatoes, but want to feel "useful". Mercy requires 0 (zero) aim and makes all the cucks and grill gamers feel useful because muh heals.
There's also the waifufags and lesbians, but I don't know if the waifufags even play mercy or just jerk off to their team's mercy while they play some other hero.

It's infuriating. I honestly wonder if these people bitching have been so spoiled by jack-of-all trades heroes like oldhog, pre-nerf Dva, Soldier, etc. that they can't understand why having characters with complementary strength's & weaknesses makes for compelling gameplay.

She's blonde, a healer, and her whole personality is the pure, submissive angel grill that wants to help everybody, of course desperate virgins and purefags will love her.

The main reason you see more Mercy one-tricks than any other type of one-trick is that there isn't really such a thing as a soldier one-trick. If you're able to play soldier to a certain level, you can probably play other characters similarly well. Mercy on the other hand requires no mechanical skill and is extremely reactive/passive in playstyle.

She's kind of a trap character in the sense that it's very easy to have a high-impact playing her and get to a level where you picking any other character would make the game a 5v6, but then you're stuck playing mercy and can't really improve.

She's also usually the first character people show their female friends/gfs trying to get them into the game, and they never really try anything else because it doesn't feel as rewarding to them. It's not as obvious to them what they should be doing as a dps/tank/other support and it's not as clear to them when they're doing a good job. Playing Mercy they just get to watch all the little bars fill up and press Q after everyone dies, then they get a card at the end of the game and everyone tells them how special they are.

Probably, I flame mercy mains a lot, especially if they were diamond or below S2.

The game already looks stupid as fuck with people having effectively replaced some characters with their skins. I don't know the last time I even saw default Tracer, the graffiti skin is who Tracer is now. Or the Winston Yeti skin so you have a yeti covered in snow leaping all over a city in India.

a few weeks ago i would've been against it, since it will ruin the aesthetic of the game, but now i honestly don't give a shit. The porn is more entertaining than the game at this point and if it gives animators more material to work with, then go ahead.

I personally hate every single Mercy main, I would rather have a female Junk main that charges the enemy Zarya every 5 seconds on my team than have a bitch Mercy main that starts screaming when somebody besides her plays Mercy or things don't go her way.

The waifushit is basically all that keeps the game alive at this point because they slow-drip all the content and the game is barebones as FUCK. It feels like they have 4 guys working on OW.

You cant save casualwatch. You either make pro balances and say good bye to casuals or you make casual balances and say good bye to pros. After pros leave the game will die slowly because there isnt anything interesting in the game. If casuals leave first then blizzard wont get lootbox moneys so they wont update the game anymore

ive been playing since the beta and i see new players without fail everytime i log on, and i dont mean one or two new players, i see whole lobbies of new names everyday, and i also believe it important to note that i have over 600 hours, i remember people's names because im a salt lord and im on the OCE region, which is likely one of the smallest regions.

This desu, at least it's amusing to see them try and force this game as the next big esport while balancing around golds. But that's to be expected when Kaplan thinks high plat is "elite"
