Hey man I know everybody probably says this, but if you stick with a character long enough and keep practicing, somebody is bound to make sense.

For example I started with Alisa, and while I still consider her my main, I have been seeking a secondary. I've tried Xiaoyu, Kazuya, Claudio, Miguel, and now I've finally landed on Jin.

I probably could've stuck with Claudio but something just wasn't right with me playing him. Now I've been sticking to Jin and slowly but surely he's making more sense. I don't think I'll ever be able to do Jin's electrics but I'm having fun with the character

Tekken chars mostly play the same so u can pick up anyone and be good

Why didn't you use gigas and steve as an example. They're the only ones with different generic moves. Steve doesn't have a generic d4 and gigas doesn't have a generic 1,2

Basic moves is all what it comes down to man

Knowing when to step, when to interrupt, punishing, knowing frame data, conditioning, movement, yomi etc are all fundamentals that aren't character specfic

All characters in tekken have a 1,2 df1 d4 throws and launchers. You can just use these basic tools and the higher your fundamentals the more successful you'll be

Just set it to Repeat Action and set or record each of the moves you want to practice. You can have five at once and it'll pick them randomly. You can even weight them so certain actions are used more frequently than others.

Or just set it to full CPU controls.
