What makes Yamaha the best?

sounds easy enough. I'm scouring the internet for other problems but all seem like cheap easy fixes I can do myself.

What bike?

Yeah theyre pretty bullet proof. Accessing the carbs is a cunt though.

If you think Yamaha is best you are a noob

Cc and age literally mean nothing
I'm certain a beginner would be safer on a brand new liter honda than a 5 year old aprilia 450

Id say that probably true if a newvie leaves every electric nanny in the highest setting.

Bike slipped this morning on the patio, now the right handguard is scuffed. I know it's autistic but it keeps triggering me. What can I do to get the plastic back and reduce the scuffing, even a little bit?

Best at what? R1 has fallen behind the euro liters and KTM is the best offroad.

ktm is shoddy trash.

get a new handguard?

As someone who learned on a bike where the only safety net was being able to put my feet down for stability in case of low-speed grip loss?
Electronic nannies make you weak.
As someone who drives a car loaded with them?
They're downright essential in the wet when trying to make a ton and a half of metal turn corners at speed, or stop.

Tbh I've learnt to drive in a panda 750, where the only electronics were to keep the lights on and the safety net was the bicycle tyres that wouldn't take you over 90
Electro-doodles are fun for the irst week, then I get increasingly annoyed with them

£50 a pair, wondered if there was a way to smooth it out for less than that.

if polish doesnt do it nothing will

Real men don't need electronics.

>tfw no cb300x

I've never even owned a vehicle with abs.
All these newfangled electronic nanny things are weird to me.
I'm not saying they're bad, but idk if I could ever get used to driving a car with them if I got one.
Also, without them it has let me learn how to deal with bad situations.
Like just the other day, I took a turn too hard and put my truck on two wheels. I kept calm and put it back down. Scared the shit out of my friend tho.

Why would you want one? The 500 is already underpowered and slow

But there's the 500X, why would you want a lesser version?

real electronics don't need men

It's my birthday /dbt/! post bikes from the 90s

500x weighs nearly 100lbs more

OK

Happy Birthday, I'd post some if I had one

...

...

good morning birthday boy

I almost forgot I own a bike from the 90's.

How old?

...

...

...

...

...

You shut the fuck up.
We're stupid, but we're not that stupid.
Call it marines edition.

More than what? The CB300X doesn't exist.

...

Cb300f

I used to have one in red. Loved it!

...

Well that's just a stupid comparison.

Oh... ok

...

...

...

...

...

...

I was with you user, but then you get lewd.
For shame.

...

Can it be over soon?
Please?
It hurts...

So is this your first GS dump or...?

Are motorcycle auto shows worth going to?

...

Happy birthday!

A QT
Also checked.

...

...

That is so fucking gay jesus christ

...

Happy birthday mane, it was my birthday on the 1st but I was b& for posting EF's bridge troll cum tribute.

It's a suzuki. What did you expect

...

...

That is true.

>Bandit owners

Doing God's work user!

...

Fuck off mate, I like mine.

I go every year, you can sit on any bike you want and they've got a lot of gear you can try on, plus occasionally some really cool shit.

...

...

They're okay cheap bikes but I don't understand how anybody could aspire to own one, it's genuinely one of the worst bikes I've ever ridden, followed only by a Kawasaki ER6.

...

How do people ride bikes that look like this? It's always in old leathers covered in tribal print too.

...

Honestly, it's an ok ride.
It's not a favourite, but for what I paid for it, I like it.
No problems, and get's it's job done.
You're right tho, definitely not an aspiration.

Er5 > Gs500

...

I'm sorry guys, I'll have to cut the dump short. I had 18 more pictures to post but my time at work is over for today.

I'll give it credit that it was a comfy seat, but the position of the bars was just awful, it was woefully heavy and handled like a barge.

I know you were all looking forward to more picures of the Best Beginner Bike but, alas, that will have to wait.

...

Nobody asked, stop killing the thread.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of where the bars sit.
Idk if it's just the position of the bars or whatever, but after a while, my back hurts.
I never had a problem with handling tho.

I AM THE THREAD

...

>I never had a problem with handling tho

Not to be a dick but what's your basis for comparison? I'd honestly rate the handling 5/10 tops. Regular riding is fine but if you pushed on it's just bouncy and wallowy.

I'm not a Kawasaki fan but man I love their 90s colours, so dope.

Eastern yuropoor reporting in. Perfect weather for riding woods and backroads where there is no salt. But i have to work forever. Ehh.

But ktm still best dirtbaik

Also first time posting baik

In recent history, these.
The handling wasn't great, but mine isn't bouncy.

Happy birthday, way to take one for the common good.

happy birthday
hope you get a cute gf to ride with if you don't have one already

Happy birthday! Another year closer to the coffin.

And this

Good when you're looking for a new bike. Having GOT one, I'm considering skipping the London one this year. The 'live action' wasn't great last year, and I'm not interested in auctions.
Depends on if the girl I'm trying to get with currently is interested in going, since she's contemplating a new bike. If so, might make it a mini road trip with her.
