Become a better diesel technician, get confident and comfortable with doing stuff like wheel seals, alignments, and electrical stuff.
Get my z32 to 400whp. Basically install all the shit I've bought over the past few years. Too lazy to take the engine out.
really? tell me more please
One grandad owner, car is rusted to shit but mechanically the best condition e34 i've ever seen, drives like brand new.
Bought it for 650 euros
hm, what do you plan to do with the rust? is it on the frame?
Was it originally an auto, or a 4-speed manual? Always believed Saturns were 5-speeds, for whatever reason...
I know fuck all about diesels :^( Where can I start to learn more, user? Any online links, books, videos?
Where are you from, user? That sounds like a fantastic deal!
>I know fuck all about diesels :^( Where can I start to learn more, user? Any online links, books, videos?
There's quite a few books out there but most of my knowledge is hands-on or from online courses my dealership network offers.
Replacing my shitbox - got a shortlist of a few cars I think I'll enjoy and probably love more than my current piece of shit.
I'm mostly between a first gen ZX3 Focus, an 09 Chevy Cobalt or a late 90s Subaru Outback. Maybe a Niisan Hardbody if I can find one for a good price that isn't beat to shit as I think it'd be a fun truck to drive.
Admittedly I'm all over the place, all have practical reasons for owning and all seem like I'd enjoy them, I just can't seem to settle on one on its own.
what was he a saturn enthusiast?
Planning on welding the floor, skirts, rear arches
Latvia, plenty of cheap shitox e34's here but this one stood out because one grandad owner

I want to fix the oxidized paint on my 1989 Mustang and possibly fix some of the problems before selling it. Don't know what to worry about and what I can pass on to the next guy. Off the top of my head the biggest problems are oil disappearing (probably burning) and the heater core leaks so i want to see if my buddy can assist me with replacing that. Other problems are little things like the passenger side door not locking or having working power windows
Buy a set of pilot super sports for my shitbox
Swap in a fresh r154 into my Mk3. Depending on how long that takes me, Maybe take the engine out for a full rebuild with a MHG, get a 57 trim turbo and start upping the boost.
New wheels and tires too.
I just want to get a nice 944.
Move out and buy another car to learn to wrench on
derust, replace bushings, and bolt the splitter ive had in my garage forever onto my fg2
I want a GTO VR-4 that works and runs well.
I want to finally put my interior back together in my 2nd car. That can't happen until:
>Replace SRS unit capacitors
>Replace factory radio capacitors
>Have a bodyshop refinish a bunch of trim pieces
>Fabricate a new hand brake handle
>Sew a hand brake shift boot from scratch
>Drill a hole and install an AUX jack in the dash
>Decide how I want to hardwire my dash cam
The other problem is that I removed the entire interior behind the front seats in my daily to fix some leaks so now both cars are stripped out. With any luck they'll both be reassembled by May.
hoping to buy pic related in april and turn my current car into a project car of sorts
weeeeee

Do it! well...don't worry what they think.. but buy something that you love!
Do it! Learn it!
Do it!
Do it! ZX3 Focus seems to be the one with the happiest base, or mayyyybe a Mazda3 if you can make it happen.
Do it! stay between the lines and mid those stop signs
Do it! Passenger side sounds like a corroded wire
Do it!
Do it! save the engine for a rebuild/sale though
Do it! 50/50, can't beat it
Do it! get a garage, preferably with little water drainage. no water is easy wrenching
Do it! and..good luck
Do it! and....again...VR-4 is solid 'good luck' territory. i pray for your knuckles
Do it! honestly you sound like you have it very well put together compared to some on Veeky Forums, so you have a solid to-do list, so all there is to do is just get that shit done and have it done with. maybe a weeks' worth of work?
um...as a previous MS6 owner...um...well...good luck
Do it! clunk clunk when turning aint no good
Do it!
Do it! Cars younger than 5 years are farrrr better than anything older, if just because you have a lot less grime to clean from those nooks and crannies
