DD best girl in every route, she deserved better

I LIKE LOLIS!

I hate lolis

What the fuck, I didn't vote.
Plotge all the way.

I like moege but only when the protagonist isn't a piece of cardboard

I can enjoy most moege. All I want from it is good lovey dovey, thats why to me titles liek koirizo are great.

I like moege but only if it has action, dead ends and lots of choices.

What VN is this??

Nigger, read the fucking thread over there.

I can read moege in japanese so it's pretty much all I read aside from english released otome games.

theres a difference to me between a boring vanilla protagonist and a cardboard protagonist with no personality and no good traits

Kono Oozora etc etc (if my heart had wings) is a good example of a cardboard protagonist with no personality and no good traits

That is pretty common for moege to make them more self-insertable, so it is kinda hard to really get away from unfortunately. A more charage/moege hybrid might probably closer to what might prefer.

It is already in that thread.

Kei best girl

This was actually a pretty good VN. The pacing was much better than most plotge's and was actually engaging for the most part. I felt there was more realistic characters in here than "serious" VNs.

Suck my dick or die was probably a mistake in naming it as it comes off like a black lilith type title when it's actually much more tasteful and engaging.

Though I do hate and find gang rape semen bukakke disgusting even while CTRLing through it. In this VN at least it made sense plot-wise. Some nukiges they literally just find random hobos or friends for no reason to shoehorn it in.

Accidentally posted in the dead thread so reposting here

Is Streaming that big of a deal? MangaGamer posted some limits on uploading W Happiness videos which seems to have generated some backlash for them.

Casual reminder that Fata Morgana sucks, and so do all its fans.

^_^

i think for the devs it is, cause you can read the entire game, i know I do it with ps vita VNs

look at atlus and how buttdevasted they got about p5 streaming

People are stupid and don't see it as piracy even though it basically is. I can see why they want to remove it and would do the same in my position. Would you not get rid of torrents if you had the ability to? No-brainer.

me and my cats

Nigger, shut your mouth. I ain't doing that slave work. Now tell me the name of the VN.

It has been pretty standard to have limits on how much can be streamed, though in some cases popular streamers/youtubers have been able to extensions on how much or complete permission. It is understandable why it is limited since there isn't much variation to what you can show unlike a RPG so it ends up the same as someone playing the game themselves if it is a non commented longplay.
Though streaming and videos can be pretty important for the growth of a title as it was one of the reasons why Nekopara managed to take off like it did with big streamers showcasing it as a wacky "oh, japan" type thing to their viewers.

...

Reminder to hug your loli when she is in need.

ok come here user

Nigger.

Of course the limits are completely understandable and I would want to have the same limits on anything except short meme games if I were publishing myself. I was more surprised by just how strong of a reaction backlash that "you can't upload a complete stream of a long visual novel that defeats the purpose of plaything through it yourself" got.

I really don't get it but, are these punctuations meant to be deliberate?

Chiho is the best

So I finished Touka's chapter in SnK. Man,
her mother is fucking nuts. And that freakout by Houzuki at the end was great.

It definitely wasn't as suffering as Sachi's chapter, though. I dunno if I should be glad about that

>I was more surprised by just how strong of a reaction backlash that "you can't upload a complete stream of a long visual novel that defeats the purpose of plaything through it yourself" got.
Where is the backlash? On the Steam forums or something? It isn't like the policy is something new or even unique to MG, so it is kinda strange if there is such a big fuss over it.

If thats a bad example, what would you call the MC from Hatsukoi?

>(if my heart had wings)
fucking Moenovel

I haven't played Hatsukoi but seeing as he tagged as Donkan I can't imagine he's a good protagonist

Give context. Is it just a different font or something? It could be showing sarcasm or a change in the tone of voice or quoting something etc.

>Onii-chan, daisuki!!
What's behind sleeve number one?

I have not seen any backlash. Maybe you're just retarded dude

That's a funny looking mustache she's got there.

>censored kissu CG

He's actually great. Even though he's a bit simple minded his attitude towards life and how he grows as a person throughout the novel is great.

Reminds me of Clannad's MC early on.

Speaking of that, the capture program usually takes that out, wonder what went wrong.

Something like that. It's not the font, since the font only changes, well, the font.
>What makes you tick?
I don't even know what that question is supposed to be.

>I don't even know what that question is supposed to be.
>ESLs

ah well that's not too bad. I don't mind simple protagonists that fit with the characters well.

I just don't like protagonists so boring that they make the game worse

...

Yuuma is really indecisive compared to the MC's of tone work's later games. Hopefully one day we'll see HOYM translated, maybe Ginharu too if we're really lucky.

>marketing for 12 yearold French girls
>not knowing that girls turn to whores at that age
>appropriating moege to a non-existent demographic

I honestly wonder what this girl thought would happen.

disgusting OELVN art

Nice, man. Next chapter is even less intense but fifth is on the other hand... Near the end... You're in for some stuff. Enjoy.

Yes, I'm an ESL so what? I take writing seriously. I really don't get what they were trying to convey here. If I knew what the original Japanese was, I would probably understand it better. "What makes you tick", does not even sound like a logical question.

The funny thing though is both of the Love Kami spinoffs are relatively explicit with their CGs, taking the Nekopara approach to all ages content. Though both companies connected to Active Gaming Media (Yumehaven and Moenovel) probably won't ever touch porn.

Yeah I'm not too fond of the Tanukisoft artstyle either, sucks that they do plenty of my fetishes though.

>being this new

...

>"What makes you tick", does not even sound like a logical question.
Because you're an ESL.

Do you know what it means? I doubt anyone here does. It's probably some slang or some made-up word. I checked the dictionary and the context seems to be incompatible with that.

Are you serious dude

do you actually not know what "what makes you tick" means?

Are you serious? "What makes you tick" basically means "what motivates someone" or "allows someone to function" a la a clock.

From an ESL: Are you for real?

It's a decently common phrase user

Not only are ESLs so stupid they don't know what an idiom is, but they are audacious enough to say it's made up. Fucking kill yourself and keep to your own language. Do they not have google in your spic country or something and you're physically incapable of just looking up what a particular idiom means?

Boy, if you weren't already proving you were behind on your ESL classes, you just put yourself out there

I've been going through the Majikoi series all over again and have found that nothing has topped this mess of sex hair.

Unless there's a total ringer in the untranslated A-X series, I can't help but wonder if Benkei is the best girl of best girls.

85% of the route is focused on banter, flirting/romance, and SoL. The final 15% is relegated to fighting scene nonsense as usual in a Majikoi novel, but that's the shortest the mock battle/war borefest has ever been shortened to in a route.

Least amount of fighting filler, most time put towards the heroine's screetime. One of most relaxed heroines and least drama if at all until the end.

I find myself thinking that Benkei's route is probably the most comfy route thus far translated. Thoughts?

Is W Happiness supposed to play at like 30 fps or is my computer a pile of steaming shit?

stop bullying us ESLs we're making an effort just to communicate with you Anglofags, I'm sensitive as it is

Daily reminder

What kind of English is this?
>tick
Clearly means "checked" or "someone upset".

Instead of saying, "What makes you tick?", the person could've just written it as, "What makes you motivated?". It would prevent confusions and stupid double meanings. I have talked to a lot of people, and I have never heard this used that way.

Moonstone engine is total crap.

Tick, in the context of "what makes you tick", is referring to the ticking noise a clock/watch makes.

Nobody does it better.
Was her route the one that had the "fight" between Yamato and Tatsuko?

You know tick refers to the clock kind of tick, right?

>he's still going

why did it have to be Jast, I will never see the rest of Majikoi titles translated in my lifetime

fucking hell
I want my Yoshitsune route give me my Yoshitsune route, reeeeeeeeeeeeeee

That's "ticked". not "tick".

Also, he's right in the "What makes you tick?" question.

Welcome to english.

>Stop bullying me for being fucking stupid
Don't pretend you've mastered English and try to say shit like "No one here knows what this common idiom means" and no one will say anything.
Why does it even matter? It's a visual novel and you play it at 1 frame per 30 seconds or however fast you read.
dictionary.com/browse/idiom

The character is not literally ticking or making ticking sounds, there would be no sense in using that in this context.

so close

Are you being obtuse on purpose or what? That idiom isn't even hard to understand.

"What makes you tick?" is a common phrase, stop dragging down the collective intelligence of ESLs.

You're a lost cause.

I like my occasional waifu sprite animations to be as smooth as butter, user.

dictionary.com/browse/idiom
That's W Mama, not W Happiness

>think the silver hair girl has a small chest
>they all have big oversized cow udders

i84603012
Yea, I realised after. I skimmed what was said because of all the discussion over "tick".

I'm replaying Imouto Paradise and I'll be going for the loli twins

there's nothing you can do to stop me

Lots of idioms don't make literal sense. It's a very common phrase though, you'll need to learn it to master the english language. Good luck!

Lewd loli > Piss loli
Actually, Lewd loli > every other sister

>Another loliposter complains about cowtits
We get it, you're a pedophile. Don't play the fucking game if it bothers you so much.

It is part of the art style which exaggerates them.

Not the right game but thanks anyway. You helped me steer into the right direction at least. The game was bottlenecking off my CPU and not my GPU, so I got decent frames after swapping.

I feel you my man

Everything was fine till I started reading Kaoruko's route. The English felt much denser and abstract compared to the common route.

Everything was fine until you were born.

ayyyy

...

So what makes you tick, /vn/?

>another butthurt user assumes not liking cowtits means you're a lolicon

Toa's is inconsistent. She usually has normal breast but sometimes she looks like she's carrying cannonballs.

Explain then.
Any English teacher would fail people with that disgusting punctuation.
I would say even the translators themselves are probably ESL.

...

That's six to one, half a dozen to the other. Two wrongs don't make a right, so that's all water under the fridge.
