Why do people online seem to think scorch is bad? It is the only Titan I use and it absolutely destroys, especially with the flame shield buff.
I'm around G8 with the guy, have been playing for about a month, and the rest of my titans are still in the first gen.

Scorch requires good placement and aiming to be able to be as good as the other Titans. If you're caught out of your natural claustrophobia inducing habitat nearly everything else can rip you apart thanks to Scorches slow firing weapon and general focus on close combat.

Shitters think Scorch is bad because in a scenario where you haven't stacked the odds in your favor you generally need to work harder than other titans. Scorch really shines when people know what they're doing, and either occupy enemies to let Scorch flank them, or push enemies to Scorch. The Unseen Scorch is the most dangerous.

And may the Lord have mercy on anyone that tries to attack a Scorch in anything resembling an enclosed area, for Scorch shall show them none.

Is it new? I can't remember it playing the campaign in January but i recently replayed it and had lots of fun with it.

Quad Rocket was always part of the titanfall 2 campaign for the Brute loadout and enemy titans.

It was also a staple in Titanfall 1, left out of 2's multiplayer because reasons, I guess. Possible future titans can feature that and the arc cannon.

I just bought the origin access to play but the game still says trial from the f2p weekend and wants me to buy the game.

I have both Ion and Scorch high enough to play on hard.

In titanfall 1 you had the option of picking either Multi-target missile (like Monarchs upgrade core 3 missile system), rocket salvo (like monarchs basic rocket system) and cluster missile (northstars cluster bomb missile system).

You could combine quad rocket with rocket salvo for a huge amount of projectiles (which would get rekt by vortex shield, so it wasn't used that often) and absolutely destroy people if they all hit.

Quad rocket also behaves differently from rocket salvo, tones tracking rockets, homing missiles and cluster missile, so no reason not to have it. Give it a mortar or concentrated semi-guided alt fire and you'll have a nice new gun for the potential titan.

Are you talking about the stop before she throws the pilot? I thought that was just for dramatic effect. I know animators usually make things that they want to have more impact take more frames to make it seem intense/important.

I mean the stop after she knees the titan in mid-air and the sudden stop right after she throws the pilot in the air as if her body had no inertia, It looks so lazy.

I generally feel the same about Ion Prime's execution, it's very herky jerky, and I just don't like it.

the sounds in most executions are also messed up, Ion's and scorch's prime execution erase my ears everytime

We were winning an Attrition match until 2 enemies dropped a Monarch and my team mates just kept feeding them batteries the whole match. But the best thing is:

Seeing what 343 has done to Halo as a franchise amd its community is incredibly depressing.

I thought they ended it perfectly with Reach. Everything from your custom Spartan as the main character to Forge World was just terrific. The fact that it was bungies last game before 343 ran it into the ground really just cements it as the last real Halo for me.

There's nothing wrong with using hitscans, phase kit, and run 'n' gun weapon mods when you're starting out with the mp. Nobody wants to get shit stomped when they first start playing because they're gimping themselves against tryhards who only phase and alt. The idea is to slowly phase out those things as you improve and aim to play the game in a more challenging way.

It's shit when you play the floor is lava and always slide hop, but to new players it helps them shoot without having to stop sprinting.

Have to be activated prior to dropping in. You'll see a prompt for it during the dropship intro if you have any to redeem.

On consoles, you press Y or Triangle during the 15 seconds prior to the match to activate it

DOOM4's soundtrack is processed to the point of being unrecognizable, and it's far, FAR FAR FAR too slow to be doom music
Yes, there are slower tracks in the original doom's soundtrack, but the slowest in doom is faster than the majority of DOOM4

Is there a way to force secret reloads? Volt's secret reload is cool as hell and the regular one looks off.
