it's all relative. They had no ability to improve most builds up to double dipping level. They had to do a hard reset which they did and 3.0 is more about 10 acts than endgame.

Well the ones you're looking at probably have situational things counting towards their ""DPS""

Not many builds can always be at their situational best, in fact almost none will be because its inefficient to do max DPS all the time when you already will oneshot enemies past a certain damage point anyway.

If you open theirs and disable a bunch of situational things as well as check their gear you'll see a huge difference if you bring it back down to earth

Example: People will put "enemy is shocked" when they'll never actually shock enemies because their shock method is like 2% of their DPS and will never actually shock enemies enough in 3.0, or they'll use the nerfed vinktar and it will count as -50% when it's only 10% now, they'll leave totems on when showing DPS, leave vaal skills on etc etc etc

If you take them all off the DPS will go down by such a huge fucking amount it's insane

I'm not, really. That's why I put the last spells for those into parentheses. I have no idea how many damage Dark Pact is even gonna do.
