I'm still in the first part of the game, currently I'm using >Cavalry, 2 groups: 4 swadians / 4 Khergit horse archers separated in two groups, Fiorentis is in the swadian group with a lv4 horse, Baheshtur and Marid in the horse archer group with good bows. >Infantry, 1 group 4 Rhodorks + 4 Nords with Lezalit with 2h and heavy armor, Rolf with throw shit, and Borcha being Borcha. >archers, 1 group 4 Rhodork crossbowmen + 4 Nords archers with Jeremus with a crossbow and heavy armor on a horse to keep him as safe as possible.

I don't know how to add more banners without overwriting current ones, but for an easier way, you could probably take one of the mods that do add completely new banners and just use that while editing one of the new ones into a custom banner for yourself.

I might do this. One of my friends suggested fiddling with the script and adding a file for more banner textures. He seemed to know what he was talking about, so I'll see if he can show me.
What I'll do is edit a bunch of banners with designs from Banner Saga's profile options, and see how they look in Mount and Blade. Some of them are pretty cool.
I've just been using the same couple vanilla banners for years now. Want something a little different.

How do I go about convincing lords to side with me in my rebel faction? I'm doing the Lethwin Far Seeker quest and they keep telling me I have good points but that they feel safer with Ragnar. I have two big cities and a few hundred men between my party and both cities, but I can't spread them too thin capturing other castles and junk.
Tl;dr is there an easier way of convincing lords to side with me because I apparently keep picking the wrong options.

Just go bull doze all the castles and towns of the enemy faction and give the last town to the claimant if they don't have one. You don't need to gather any support or other lords to put them on the throne, just wipe out the enemy and guys will start defecting to them. I mean I don't know how it'll play out in the long run after you leave him but that should be his problem making friends.

If you really want to recruit them they need to have a bad relationship with Ragnor witch will happen naturally in the late game but earlier some times the nice guys just wont turn. I still say just taking the land is better since you have no way of micromanaging the future relationship of the vassals and king and they will all hate each other eventually.
