It's just the bid/ask book but Is right. So when the stock reaches those prices those are moments where you decide to sell or hold. You can gamble it'll break through and set a sell limit above them hoping the stock will jump for a second then drop. Therefore guessing a "peak"or it'll hit it and either decline and stagnate. That's a rough outline but the gist of it.

When I say "hold" I mean I look at general market trends and take advantage of little dips and jumps.
Generally I sell and rebuy the same stocks a lot based on uncharacteristic movements. A bit of bad news that doesnt really mean shit, or vice versa, and I'll pull out (or in) at those times.
