Gas in the oil...WTF

I need some help figuring this out. I was helping my dad with his bronco and it was running poorly and had smokey exhaust. I check the oil and determine its too high. As i drain the oil it looks watery. I feel it then smell and it reeks of gasoline and it doesnt feel like oil at all. It was about an inch and a half over the full mark on the dip stick. What could have caused this? The piston rings should be good since the 289 only has 30k miles on it

ultra-rich-9000 causing gas to work its way past the rings.

Even if there's a problem with the PCV system, that isnt strictly fuel on its own.

>Fuel injection

Kill yourself

Not my car

We have the air fuel ratio target set to 14.6 it was previously 13.5 so it shouldnt be running too rich much less put what seems to be an extra quart or so of gas in the oil

Is it possible that an worn out carb could flood the crank case with gas. The thing used to have a holley on there that was in desperate need of a rebuild before we put in the fitech

fuel pressure regulator, the diaphram gets a hole in it and it leaks into your oil.

I hate this carburetor is good meme. They are shitty in every way possible

>carbs are bad because my computer just works and will never not work

lol see you in 10 years faggot.
