I'm trying to think about it, but if it does, it'd be begrudgingly and with the eventual goal to depose the monarchy completely, at which point it'd be then and only then that the flag would actually change. Kinda like Mussolini having to play the Constitutional Monarchy game because he had no power to completely take over the state aparatus to the point he could have done away with the monarchy.

It'd probably start as a faction within Labour, but should it splinter off "National Labour Party" has a nice ring to it. I agree, they'd probably blame both ends of the spectrum, from the Tories to the Whigs to the lukewarm Labour members. I don't think they'd restore any member of the nobility. National Populists are "People based", anti-elitists first and foremost, so they'd be very hostile to the idea of elites and that sort of things.

I know it looks awful from a purely aesthetic point of view, but I kinda like that sort of old timey commie flag, of the sort that always had lots of text in it, and I felt my pack didn't have enough of those kinds of flags which were so popular amongst the first Communists. Plus I took it from KR and kinda liked that.

Is there any point in joining societies in this game at all? Fellowship of Hel basically allows you to increase your stats quite a bit, and live a pretty long time once you've reached the highest rank.

Well, you could argue that's already what happens ingame since the NGF is basically a Germany to-be, so you could say NGF communists seek to become a real proper Communist German nation-state, under which circumnstances they'd then change to a proper State flag.

The satanists are a bit of a risk and I'm not sure how much they help if you have the fantasy stuff turned off, the monastic order just keeps begging you for more money and the Hermetic order adds some bonuses for learning but I'd say is most useful because of the possibility of brewing potions to get rid of stress and depression. I've gone with the Hermetic order on a number of occasions but only tried the other two once each.

I think that's because they wanted an 'east german'(closely related to prussian) identity, but when the west chose the current tricolour they decided to use the same so they would have some legitimacy in claiming to be the true germany.It could be interesting to expand on this and make a flag for nationalistic prussian commies

After the ACW I edited the save to remove Yank as an accepted POP, and later wrote a decision to remove FSA cores so Yanks would assimilate just as Dixies assimilate in the regular ACW. Had to savescum to avoid the regular ACW though.

Maybe take some inspiration from North Korea's flag? Juche is how I imagine a still Prussian-focused Germany would be like as a communist state. Lots of militarism, cult of personality, etc.

North Korea's flag is very Korean itself, with the use of the circle for example. I shouldn't take inspiration from it, it's too alien to the NGF. I think I'll stick to a tricolour design, probably the old black white and red, defased by some form of CoA. I've yet to decide on this subject though.
