2. Defeated Gilles the Breton and routed his Grail Knights.
3. Was only killed by Throg because he was emotionally crippled at his temporary loss of beauty and wasn't paying attention/didn't care.

Just for anybody actually interested in Oda Nobunaga, this was how he was described by jesuit priest Luis Frois in 1569
>This King of Owari, who would be around 37 years old, is tall of stature, lean, sparsely bearded, with extremely sonorous voice, given to military exercises, indefatigable, inclined to works of justice and compassion, arrogant, a great lover of honour, very secretive in his decisions, a master of stratagems, hardly or not at all mindful of the reprimands or advice of his subordinates, and is feared and venerated by all to the highest degree. He does not drink wine, is brusque in his manner, looks down upon all the other kings and princes of Japan and speaks to them with disdain as if to his inferiors, is totally obeyed by all as the absolute lord, has good understanding and sharp judgements, despises the gods, the Buddhas, and all other kinds of idolatry and pagan superstition. Nominally, he professes to belong to the Lotus sect, but openly declares that there is no creator of the universe, no immortality of the soul, or life after death. His buildings are very clean and refined, and always in perfect order. He hates delays and circumlocution, and not even a prince appears before him bearing a sword; he always has two thousand pages or mounted guards with him. His father was Lord of Owari Province, but he, through his immense energy, has subjected seventeen or eighteen provinces in the last four years. He conquered the eight [sic] central provinces, including the metropolitan province of Yamashiro, in seven or eight days."

G-Guys...

Yes, he is in fact literally a fucking troll

pffft, throg didn't even fight him,he waited till sigvald was suicidal and snuck up on him.

More about Nobunaga
>In 1551, Oda Nobuhide died unexpectedly. Nobunaga was said to have acted outrageously during his funeral, throwing ceremonial incense at the altar.[4] This convinced many Oda retainers of Nobunaga's mediocrity and lack of discipline. Alienated, they then began to side with his soft-spoken and well-mannered brother, Nobuyuki. Hirate Masahide, a valuable mentor and retainer to Nobunaga, was ashamed by Nobunaga's behavior and performed seppuku. This had a profound effect on Nobunaga, who later built a temple to honor Masahide.
He was also really brutal against the ikko-ikki
Jacob Foster
It is now August, and the howls of dying slaves fill the bleak land of Naggaroth with a sweet cacophony. Very soon the Asur will experience such an atmosphere, for the Witch King is finalising his strategy for the coming campaign.
From all over the land come the lords and ladys of the Black Council, and it will be a permanant position for some. Ever eager to guide her son down the path she has divined, the great Hag Queen Morathi spends much time in council with her son. Though some sense conflict between them in the future, Morathi has promised her strongest pupils will join the legions of the Druchii.
In Har Ganeth the cavorting Brides of Khaine spill the blood of offerings to their God, whilst many a would be sacrifice is lost to the blades of the Executioners. The Beastmasters of Clar Karond rouse their monstrous captives with many a laggard elf suffering in the process. All over Naggaroth the corsair fleets have been sent ahead to pillage and despoil the Black Council's choice of targets, a content glint could be seen in the Witch King's eyes, if anyone had the heart to look at them.
The time is now, the treasonous Asur will soon bow to the true Phoenix King whether they wish it or not. Domination by a best elf soon!
Jacob Campbell
You seem to imply that somehow makes him worse/inferior
He's a fucking monster and a named char, that makes losing to him 10 times better than losing to a human like franz

More crazy japs
This time the guy who really started from the bottom; Toyotomi Hideyoshi
>Hideyoshi ordered the execution of Hidetsugu's entire family, including children, wives and mistresses, at Sanjogawara. The harshness and brutality of executing 39 women and children shocked Japanese society and alienated many daimyōs from Toyotomi rule. Combined with the fact that Hidetsugu was the last adult member of the Toyotomi clan besides Hideyoshi himself, the whole incident is often seen to be one of the key causes of the Toyotomi downfall.
>In a particularly tragic case, Hideyoshi refused to spare the life of Mogami Yoshiaki's 15-year-old daughter, who had only just arrived in Kyoto to become Hidestugu's concubine and had not yet even met her husband-to-be. Her death caused the powerful Mogami clan to zealously support Tokugawa Ieyasu in the Battle of Sekigahara against Toyotomi loyalist forces, five years later.
Jonathan Miller
hmm, one was a pile of dust pretty quick after the other got serious.
Sigvald was the favored son of a chaos god, not even daemon princes get that kind of honor. His freaking sword was a part of slaanesh itself.
Brandon Kelly

No, the list is still quite up to date. Nice try though, manlet.
Jayden Jones
I wonder if third game come out and we get all races. CA will do combine race mechanic like you united all elves races become host of the eternity king or united all chaos races become grand legion of the everchosen

Trollslayers usually have a better reason then that.
>Despite these services to the state, it was for his reputed luxury and cruelty that Vedius would become best known.[1] He owned a massive villa at Posillipo on the Gulf of Naples,[6] later described by the poet Ovid as "like a city".[7] Most notoriously, he kept a pool of lampreys into which slaves who incurred his displeasure would be thrown as food[8] – a particularly unpleasant means of death, since the lamprey "clamps its mouth on the victim and bores a dentated tongue into the flesh to ingest blood".[9]
>Nevertheless, he retained, at least for a while, the friendship of Augustus, in whose honour he built a shrine or monument at Beneventum.[2] On one occasion, Augustus was dining at Vedius' home when a cup-bearer broke a crystal glass. Vedius ordered him thrown to the lampreys, but the slave fell to his knees before Augustus and pleaded to be executed in some more humane way. Horrified, the emperor had all of Vedius's expensive glasses smashed and the pool filled in. According to Seneca, Augustus also had the slave freed; Dio merely remarks that Vedius "could not punish his servant for what Augustus also had done".[10] Villa of Vedius Pollio, Posillipo
Ayden Rogers
he was real and he was actually a major member of nobunagas court.
he was even at honoji temple when oda was killed.
Blake Nelson
Hideyoshi was fucking crazy at the time of the execution though.
Jose Sanders
There was actually a black samurai.
His name was Yasuke, he was a slave brought to Japan but emancipated and given to Nobunaga as a gift.
>watch CA let's play of Monster Hunt quest >their general razes settlement for gods >gets that trait Ebin. Trait system is such a garbo.

>Cicero, governor of Cilicia, was travelling near Laodicea in 50 BC, when Publius Vedius met him with a large retinue, and several wild asses and a baboon in a chariot. Unimpressed, Cicero wrote to Atticus, "I never saw a more worthless man."[14] About this possible Vedius Pollio, Cicero adds a further anecdote: Publius Vedius, earlier, had left some items with Vindulus, who meanwhile had died. Vindulus's heir later examined the items and found five portrait-busts of married ladies, including the noted patrician Junia Secunda. Cicero took these to be trophies of Vedius' sexual conquests,[13] and, while highly praising her publicly,[15] in correspondence, criticizing her for the indiscretion,[14][13] and her husband and brother for their lack of awareness of her conduct.[16][17] (At the same time, an affair, if it did occur, may have been with a sister Junia Prima.[18]
>Vedius died in 15 BC.[19] Among his many heirs, Augustus received a large part of Vedius's estate, including his villa at Posillipo, along with instructions to erect a suitable monument on the site. The emperor demolished at least part of Pollio's house in Rome and constructed in its place a colonnade, the Porticus of Livia in honour of his wife, which he dedicated in 7 BC.[20][21][22] Legacy

Predict DLC schedule for TWW2 (reminder, they scrapped the mini-campaigns for extra LL's.)
Second: Helf and Delf Lord Pack Delf LL: Hellebron Helf LL: Alarielle
Third: Lizards and Rats Liz LL: Tehenhauin Skaven LL: Skrolk
Fourth: Araby FLC. They have to make up all the LL's.
LL's: Some Caliph guy, some magic vizier guy, some desert warrior guy, some harem dancer girl.
Justin Gonzalez
would guess they'd do some inconsequential pack/race like Beastmen (insert guess) before a major hyped race like Wood Elves (tomb kangz)
Ethan Cox
I get you need to desperately search for excuses for Siggies failure, but it's getting pretty sad.
James Nelson
Jafar Al-Mustafa?

I like it... but not for Legendary Lords. Those should only be capable of achieving certain traits.
Ayden Nguyen
>give tribute to gods >get giving trait

Seppuku actually wasn't all that common before the edo period. It was used by the Tokugawa Shogunate (also the ones who actually codified bushido) mainly as a way to eliminate political rivals by making them kill themselves.
But before the 1600's, seppuku was a fairly rare thing.
Nathaniel Wood
I wonder who the fourth LLs for the base races will be.
Anthony Ramirez
better than worshiping a literal troll.
Who's only feat is killing a person from behind.

Amazonians and pygmies.

>When he was consul in 60 BC Metellus Celer sided with the optimates and vigorously opposed Pompey in everything because he had divorced his sister.[11] Together with Cato the Younger he was the main opponent of the ratification of the acts Pompey had made with the cities and kingdoms in Asia as a result of the Mithridatic War. He also opposed an agrarian bill proposed by Flavius, a plebeian tribune, which Pompey sponsored and which was intended to give land grants to Pompey's discharged soldiers which they were entitled to. Metellus led the opposition to the agrarian bill. He contested every point of Flavius' bill and attacked him so persistently that the plebeian tribune had him put in prison. Metellus wanted to convene the senate there and Flavius sat at the entrance of the cell to prevent this. Metellus had the wall cut through to let them in. When Pompey heard this he was afraid of the reaction of the people and told Flavius to desist. Metellus did not consent when the other plebeian tribunes wanted to set him free.[12]
Politics was something else back in the day.
Jaxon Peterson
They've already said they're working on the DLC and its supposed to be a big one.
My guess is its going to release when they release the combined world map as a way of connecting the old world and the southlands.
Henry Martinez
Sounds about right.
Isaiah Martinez
First we'll get Tomb Kings out of the way. Most people will want that one. Then one of the southern realms (Estalia or Tilea). Then Araby FLC, and lastly Vamp Coast
Joseph Cox
Sounds reasonable. >Khatep Mah nigga.
For FLC I'm guessing: >Malus Darkblade for Dark Elves >Ikit Claw for Skaven (assuming that Thanquol and Queek are base game and Skrolk DLC) >Alith Anar for High Elves >Shadow Warriors for High Elves >Araby.
No idea what else might be added,
Landon Anderson
>Peter’s foreign policy was a reversal of his predecessor’s. He admired Frederick the Great, the King of Prussia, and did everything he could to win Frederick’s approval. As a result, the two countries signed a peace treaty, and Peter III returned to Prussia the lands conquered by Russia during the last five years of the war Seven Years’ War.
Russians got really mad after that. Shortly after that, the militarty coup was organized by his wife and he was murdered. Not a shitty person per se, but a total loon.
Charles Robinson
>That fucking face
He practically has "Inbred" written on his forehead
Parker Jones
Madman
Evan Nelson
Freddy totally lucked out there. How can one man be such a great tactician while similarly being so bad at the strategy side?
Jonathan Hernandez
Human factions are boring as ass and nothing will ever change that.
Nolan Flores
>Then one of the southern realms (Estalia or Tilea). They can't really release a faction that doesn't have a presence in the Vortex campaign. So I'd maybe expect Dogs of War as a horde faction - that way they can implement it as a fully-playable faction without requiring use of the combined map.
Kayden Howard
>all these hilarious history dumps about retarded politicians
Someone post the Van Ribbentrop adventures. They're too good.
Elijah Williams
Estalia has a colony and Tilea is there via Pirazzo. Both have a presence (you can even see it on the campaign preview)
DLC could be implemented that way:
Buy the race pack to get Pirazzo's legion and then get Tilea for free if you own WH1.
Grayson Nguyen
Fantasy landsknechts aren't boring, you double goblin
Austin Scott
You haven't seen inbred until you've seen the Habsburgs
Gavin Mitchell
>mfw I read about anons sperging about characters in any media acting retarded because they are not "realistic"
Angel Thompson
Dogs of War really don't work as a race though.
Tyler Campbell
Landsknechts are boring and overrated even in history, much more so in fantasy. Take away their flashy outfits and they're just a Chinese knock-off of Swiss mercenaries, who made them their bitches for over a century until gunpowder started dominating on the battlefield.
Austin Evans
>in two centuries people will read the same kind of stories about Berlusconi and Donald Trump and wonder how dumb we were
Joshua Murphy
>when you are so inbred that even your sister-wife looks exactly like you in a wig with a pair of fake titties
Connor Ramirez
>muh swiss guard
Neck thyself.
Grayson Martin
Estalia is unlikely to get a faction just because they don't have any units at all.
Pirazzo is almost certainly a 'rogue army' without a settlement. Which is a little like a horde already.
Ryder White
>much more so in fantasy
Shit taste 2bh
Anthony Allen
CA can do really interesting mercenary mechanic about them though,
David Rogers
I think it would work fine as a race. They would just be a horde with some unique mechanics that allow them to fight in other factions' wars to get income.
Adam Martinez
Can do the same while also adding one of the Southern realms...
I really think we need one of them to make the grand campaign interesting. The southern realms are shit and a real stain on the campaign. Kislev as well but at least they have a very very big chance to make it.
Sebastian Thompson
If we get other states, I need new hats
Jaxson Mitchell
But the entire point of them is that they are from all around the world and work in different armies. How do you explain Norscans, Tileans, Marienburgers, Ogres and worse happily sitting around and working together? There is no common theme apart from being mercenaries. Most of the regiments are from Tilea and that's where a DoW race pack should be placed.
Liam Evans
The tide is finally turning
People are waking up to CA's bullshit.
Mason Diaz
The whole point of them is that they all care about money and money only. They are more interested in defending the gold wagon than their general.
Isaac Williams
They had their own army book for 5th edition that you could play as a standalone army.
Kevin Harris
Based Mannfred
Leo Sanders
So very interesting
Nolan Lee
GW art used to be some shit back in the day
Samuel Reed
Yeah, and that army book was a thematical mess that no one liked. People rerely played DoW standalone and just used them to supplement other armies. That's why it was discontinued. Fleshing out the South of the Old World is more important than the next horde faction.
Nolan Bailey
...but people have been saying stuff like this since the beginning.
