Dafuq is this?

I'm pretty sure this piece of metal just fell down my car, there's no problems while driving or braking. Any ideas?

Please put a quarter next to it and try again.

Looks like a tool some engineer left behind

Sorry man, here

Looks like some kind of spoon

Do you daily a heavy-duty vehicle?

Looks kinda like a gas or water valve shut-off wrench. What services have you had done in the shop recently?

Pic related.

Part from a trailer.

I don't know trailers at all but this is a very likely possibility. Road debris make all sorts of sounds as they get pushed around.

Did you go over a bump and hear it fall out? Or were you driving and maybe ran over it and stopped to check it out when you heard the noise?

kek

Nope man, it's a Malibu 98

Throttle cable replacement
I was driving just around my street and I heard this weird sound metal does when it falls

>metal sound

That looks like plastic to me, user.

It's a connecting rod you fucked up big time, buddy.

>visible rust

>Everything brown is rust

It is obviously an intake manifold though.

It's a 3k civic looks like you hit the jackpot kid

It is some sort of square drive tool. My guess is that it was forgotten inder the hood during a previous service.

Naw man that is the alternator fluid fill wrench.
