This isn't specific to hearthstone. All card games are inherently luck based because of their nature of picking randomly shuffled cards from a deck.

If you're going to complain about randomness in HS, at least complain about valid cases of it being a problem. Like how too many of the game's most powerful cards have completely random effects instead of targeted or non-random effects.

Complaining about bricking in a card game is the stupidest and most obvious complaint you could ever make.

Inkmaster Solia could make some really nice tempo plays, whereas Harrison is a 5-Mana 5/4 most of the time, but it can be really good if you hit a weapon. Mukla is trash in Arena.

The problem with bad draws is there is no mitigation factor like scry or allowing you to search.

I just lost a game because Druid innervate out a bird on turn one and I had no answer. Whelp. That is game over from turn 1.

Resource cheat cards are inherently bullshit and aren't in most card games/get banned in competitive formats to begin with.

Innervate should not exist.

I don't think there's any other card game that has a card as fucking insane as innervate in its evergreen set

I said it when it was first revealed. It's probably going to be a mediocre card but will also be one of the most complained about cards of all time for the occasions that it actually mills something really important.

People will be constantly whining about it because it milled their win condition one time even though it didn't the other 20 times it was played against them. I play an ultra greedy priest deck in wild. it out-greeds the regular greedy decks on there, while still being able to win vs. aggro with lucky draws. I can't wait for KFT so I can make jade niggers bend over as well

Go calculate the % of that happening. It is surprisingly not that low for a draw that instantly wins you the game if your opponent has no answer

Go Swamp King Dred. Hunter naturally curves low, and Dred is much more impactful turn 7 than Han'Cho.

if you're new, I'd generally stick with just picking the highest ranked card. If there are any close calls feel free to ask the thread. Try to get a good curve, since having a minion to play each turn in the early game is the key to success in arena.

keep in mind it's probably shit, but I've won games here and there. and the games you end up winning are won by a large margin. consider waiting for skulking geist so you can cuck jade niggers, since a single (two if you get an ok shadow visions) lightbomb sometimes isn't enough

Cause it is fucking shit game that is largely RNG. I had a game which I had no right winning at all, behind the whole game, drawing shit the whole time, spend all my turn answering his board. Turn 10, lets flip some coins bitches with Yogg and Yogg won me the game. This game drives people up the wall with situations like this.

nu-elise realy is a fantastic card, though you can sub it out for something else if you want, that decklist wasn't set in stone.

The only proper answer to turn 1 bird as control paladin is doomsayer for me. Does that mean I lose to it often? Not really, because the deck can stall well. Wickerflame requires two hits to get past, stonehill soaks up some damage too. Aldor resets the bird's attack. Eventually you just equality+pyro/consec their whole board and stabilize.
