is there a way to practice in bw multiplayer without someone else? i dont want to make myself look like a retard or noob on multiplayer where i would get matched with somoenone whos been playing this for like 3 years and reks me instantly

look up a build order you want to practice and do it against a computer. the computer wont be able to put up a fight but you can practice getting the macro aspects of the build down

you can work on things like not fucking up your vulture or muta micro against a computer to some degree too

my teammate was coaching me, built like 10 battle cruisers, he made more and we fucked up a terran guy, then protoss nigger fucked me up, had to rebuild, then he attacked protoss and we won. first game ever played won :^)
how the fuck do i get my apm higher? especially late game when all i do is control my troops around and dont build anything else?

a mix, keyboard for scv building things, and making marines, and i use mouse to select groups of guys cause i cant organize myself with keys. is apm important, as in, i can use mouse for the things well and it doesnt count mouse clicks for clicking buttons for upgrades on science stations n shit?

mouse clicks count towards your apm if thats what youre asking

its good to try and off load as many things as you can to the keyboard, so things like knowing what hotkey an upgrade is instead of clicking it will help increase your apm

youre gonna want to start practicing putting your army into control groups, youll be able to move your army around faster

your apm is going to increase over time as you get a better idea of your game plan and a handle on your macro. being on top of making and rallying workers, building supply depots, checking production and spending your money are all ways that youre gonna naturally increase your apm

ask blizzard customer service for a refund, they are normally pretty good about issuing them

getting better at the game will naturally raise your apm
