I'll be honest, I've never tried Blast Mining, but since you're taking any suggestions I'll just say that Motherlode Mine is a very good way to level it, worked great for me.
Blast mining requires a ton of attention, MLM is wonderfully easy and largely afk. If you're going for 99 it's a good way to go without burning yourself out, it's 100m profit and ez.

it would embarrass me if mommy knew i played runescape. so now i have to wake up at 7am every day to grind for an hour or two when no one else is using the method i've found, and do that for a few weeks.
