The 50% CE's come with the mandatory "Waver has to be present" for them to work. Kaleidoscope can easily just get off by having the servant use an Arts card as the third attack in the chain.

Her route is only slightly different. You get the whole "homunculus learn what love is" thing but it's not developed very much because of how barebones extra is in general.

Rani's route does have the better servant fights though. Arc berserker is way fucking cooler than Vlad, and lancer's a more fun fight than lu bu. Also gives you an excuse to go through the game with a different servant and fight shiki.

I do have Liz and no Saber, so part of me wants to fill the Saber void with Okita but I dunno. Isn't her rate up pretty close?
