what the fuck is that monstrosity?
Nathan Thompson
Its an Earth Federation fighter jet. To be fair, its a damn sight better than the abominations that come from Zeon. gundam.wikia.com/wiki/Fly_Manta
Nicholas Young
Zeon was a mistake, but so were those missile tubes.
Mason Robinson
My favorite "what where the Zeeks smoking" design is the Magella attack tank. Yes, that's a "plane escape pod" as a turret.
Charles Turner
It has that TIE crawler air about it where you can't help but think it is just an elaborate way to get rid of insubordinate soldiers
Kayden Young
thanks friend

May I suggest I draw something? (I guess it would be the S/MTD, so I won't ask which one to draw) Any particular livery? I'm not sure if it'll be finished before your day is over (I have no clue what your timezone might be), but since I haven't begun playing any of the vidya last thread yet, I should have finished it before mine is over. Have an oldie donut steel plated S/MTD in the meantime, have a nice day.
Camden Hall
that reminds me of the beast squadron livery for the S/MTD quite a bit, i like it any chance i could get Mobius One's light blue F-22 livery on the STOL/MTD? im surprised youd even offer considering how much youve been asked to draw recently but ty for it anyway
Asher Stewart
The blue one is the F-4E one, right? Will do. My backlog isn't heavy atm, so excuse me while I hijack the comment to give a status update. Just the Silent Flanker (Su-35Kh) and ASF-14, which are practically complete, they just need the final lining. The WW2 Kottos wasn't a request, but I'll get to it soon. The Phoenix Aigaion fleet is still shelved atm, since I'd like to try my hand at shading beforehand.
Logan Diaz
nah, his F-22 colours, if you check F-22 -Mobius1- it's a bit more obvious plus the F-15 S/MTD in AC4 is already dark blue
Luke Harris
pic didnt attach, sorry
Isaiah Perry
>the F-22 is light blue Damn, I've been blind for years and I became a drawfag. I blame ambient lightning and Belka.
Anthony Evans
yeah, the lighting and the colour overlays for each game change and make it harder to see think its only really noticeable in Zero and slightly in Infinity
Cooper Baker
Should I also draw the rounded patterns on the wings?
Cooper Harris
of course, the darker patches are apart of its design cheers for this
Sebastian Green
Yo Brady, did you know there was a plane called S-54, which is, for all intents and purposes, a Smol Flanker?
Tyler Jackson
>official chibi flanker by Sukhoi Fulcrum on suicide watch
Ryder Reed
I posted about that qt before! It deserves more love. The S-54 and S-55 were meant to be trainers, while the S-56 was an export light fighter variant of some sort.

I'm having some trouble with the canards of all things. Here's how they attach: there's a space between the variable intake hinge and the LERX where the gun is in a standard F-15. But that space is absent from the standard F-15 models! From what I can tell, the LERX isn't shortened nor are the wings reduced in size nor are the intakes lenghtened! On another note, a nozzleshot would help.
Blake Peterson
And here's the WIP for reference on what I mean. I was using an F-15C to get an this angle with a clear picture, hence his canard trouble. Also, is there an emblem, roundel and tailcode you would like?
Wyatt Reyes
that looks fucking great, also just standard Mobius Squadron/ISAF stuff will be good with his 118 tailcode as for >On another note, a nozzleshot would help. here you go, this is the best i have of it, ive got another that features the inside of the nozzle with the rest of the plane but its at an angle
Kevin Perez
That one is on point. I'm still troubled by the canard placement, since it's not exactly something that can be hidden while drawing.
Josiah Smith
is there any specific shot you may want that could help you with drawing it? i dont have much but i'll do what i can to help
Charles Turner
Maybe a similar angle, but a schematic comparison and pointing out the differences would be best, as I haven't noticed where the difference that allows for the canard hinge is.
Adam Thomas

Jaxson Rivera
I was estimating distances based on the frames of the canopy. Way to trip myself up, since it turns out the entire nose is a bit longer, the cockpit thus being further away from the engine. Back to work it is.
Kevin Torres
i have this if that works, also might help to know its based on the F-15B which is slightly different from the other eagles
Noah Scott
That one has a really good view of both the canard hinge and the engines. Reallly good stuff right there. I will never understand why we still haven't got detailed 3 view schematics.
Adrian Bell
likely because the S/MTD was never meant to and never did amount to anything, so they never saw any point in making a plane that was never more than a tech demo have loads on info and pictures available on it
Nathan Reyes
Fuck that looks comfy
Levi Martin
>tfw /aceg/ is actually anons from other generals that love ace combat and are comfy together
