f2p here, trying to decide what pack to open next. So far I've opened 2 dawn and 1 age. Also opened enough Land to get a Pineapple.

I want to focus on small sets because they're smaller and my luck's super-shitty (other than getting an SRH in 10 packs, I've had to dig to the bottom of every box).

I'm trying to decide between
3rd Dawn - for Phoenix (though I already have my 3rd SRH)
2nd Age - more Mako support
Flame - Legion, Worm, Venus, Burial memes + Apples and Electro

Wonders and Land both seem pretty shitty. Is it better to just save for the next minibox?

Forget Phoenix you already got 3 SRH, there are plenty of other decks. However do you have 3 Heavy Knight of The Flame from Dawn? That's worth considering. I'd say try to get 3 Heavy Knights and 3 Sargent Electro. If Mako is still top tier by the time you have those then open Age.

The Aegis was for Needle Ball and Destiny Draw. The idea is to basically keep stacking Needle Balls and consistently burn for 1000

Just keep aiming at making it better. You need less unique cards to make the deck more consistent. For Mind Scan, Sergeant Electro is a god.

I'd play a control deck that looks something like 2x Chiron 2x Electro 3x Heavy Knight 3x Guardian Statue 3x Enemy Controller 3x Super Rush Headlong 1x Mirror Wall 1x Sphere Kuriboh 1x Windstorm of Etaqua 1x Curse of Anubis

Maybe you can get ideas from this

Jesus christ, Konami really has been getting more and more greedy, haven't they. Today's duel a thon rewards are the perfect example.

Today's event gets you:
-20 Gems (Not even 1/2 of a pack)
-60 Red Keys (Literally useless, can be gotten by beating the SDs extremely easily)
-1500 Gold (A complete slap in the face, considering that some cards in the trader can cost up to EIGHTY times this amount)
-A fucking SR gem (Complete shit_

Part of me can't wait for this fucking game to die and konami to eat shit. Someday they'll realize they can't just be greedy little faggots and fuck players over like this.
