I listed most of the things I do in my free time. I don't go hiking or camping every weekend but I go 3 or 4 times a year and that counts as a hobby to me.
Audiophilia isn't a real hobby for me but I spend my time researching on the things I buy or want to buy and that also counts as a hobby to me.

Excellent set up, what plant do you have at the bottom? I recently got a 47 gallon for my 10 year old goldfish and it's pretty barebones right now since I just have a rock, a tree house ornament, and some java ferns. I'm looking to recreate the kelp forest from the Magic Conch episode of Spongebob and maybe put some shrimp or snails in there to eat algae
Whatever you do DO NOT go to a fish tank forum. If you think Veeky Forums is bad you have no idea.
>hey first post, thinking about getting a goldfish in a 10 gallon tank
>TEN GALLONS?! YOU ARE A TORTURER. YOU NEED AT LEAST 1800 GALLONS FOR A GOLDFISH. THE TANK NEEDS TO BE SET UP AND SEASONED FOR 10 YEARS BEFORE HE CAN MOVE IN. IT WILL NEED 22 HOURS A DAY OF MONITORING AND CARE.

yeah you're better off just going to a site that tells you all the info. they'll tell you what fish are easy to keep, which aren't, how much tank they need, pH levels, salinity, filtration, critters that will keep them happy, which rocks to use, etc. keeping fish can be fun as long as you do the research and put in the effort

Of course that's a thing. Yeah I'll stay away from there. If I do that I'll probably buy a tank in stead of a car and just get new shoes.
Got any sites you'd recommend?
I should let you guys know though, I found a beta fish in a powerade bottle on the sidewalk once so I know a little bit about fishies.
Reptile keeping
> found a beta fish in a powerade bottle on the sidewalk once
Funny you mention, when I was a kid I won two goldfish at the carnival (the ones they give you in a plastic bag), kept them in a tiny tank that looked like a gumball machine, fed them only flakes, they lived for almost 15 years (were blind half that time and would crash into the side of the tank). Then as an adult I set up a super nice freshwater tank, had nothing but problems, fish jumping out of the tank, snail breeding explosion where I went from 3 to 50 snails somehow over a weekend, all sorts of excitement. Doing live food is really annoying but you can get cool fish if you are willing to do it (I had puffers which are really cool and active, will follow your hand and look at you). I haven't had much luck with the internet, I go to the dubiously legal Asian fish shop near me and they tell me what to do.
Making shitty RPG games with way too much focus on story, watching old action movies, listening to old rock and roll, target shooting, and shitposting on my group chat
Depression, working, watching YouTube videos
My interests include mathematics, religion, dim sims and cock.
Is there a religion where you have to be gay?
Playing music.
And now I'm selling all my cars because the music is far more rewarding.
Yes. Catholicism.

I have at least three rod/reel combos in my trunk at all times. You never know when you'll see some fishy looking water to cast at.

Cars, PC Games, and Drugs are the holy trinity of my life. Skill-based escapism.
There really isn't much else other than my job (Software Engineer / Sysadmin), but programming isn't as fun as it was 15 years ago so it's not really a 'hobby' anymore.
politics, pc gaming, "THE SOC" as dj khaled says
jogging and lifting

making kneeling seats from broken office chairs

My hobby is having broken cars and dumping time and money into them with little to no return, not even just satisfaction return.
I think it's more of a life shortener than anything.
Normal people stress over real shit.
I stress over dumping literally all of my time into thinking about my cars, yet still not being able to make them run.
While I have guns and videogames up until the xbox360 gen of consoles, I really don't use them. I just collect them.
I like to go to stores and look at them, and then buy them, and clean them, and never touch them again.
My nightly past time is reading about tuning, turboing, and general power adding mods for my cars, yet have never performed even one.
It just gets me excited to read about. I'm too autistic to mod cars. I am an OE fag.
Your first gun purchase is the hardest.
You'll look like a total idiot in the store, but gun sales men see that every day. It's okay to not know something.
Once you buy your first gun you can handle it, learn how to strip it and clean it and maintain it, then you can take that knowledge and use it on your next gun purchase to not look like a total fucking retard.
I really like guns for their mechanical engineering. It's really a wonderful thing when you tear into guns for the first time and see what's going on, how, and why.
thanks user will give it some thought
and for first gun should I go old milsurp or cheap ar??
My first gun was a Colt 6920LE, I wanted an AR and /k/ pointed me in that direction. I don't regret it, but I honestly do not like AR-15's.
I'm kind of a faggot and like old shit, so stuff like K98's, Mosins, Arisakas are cool as fuck if you ask me.
I focus a lot on single shot marksmanship when I shoot, so I really don't like semi-auto. If you're the kind of dude who would rather drive an e30 than a f30, then you might be like me. If not then probably get a modern semi auto rifle. AK platforms are affordable and not peashooters like AR15's.
