Forget all that. What I believe you should do if you want to play the Warlock DK, you need to combine it with Krul the Unshackled. Have a big turn with Krul, enemy clears your board, play the DK Warlock, your opponent is out of resources to clear your board again.

This is gonna be the best expansion imo. I don't even care about how the meta will work (even though I think it'll slow down to a degree), I just really fucking like the flavour.
The spell names and concepts are on point.
The meme cards are conceptually fun and not just rng/discover bait.
The art direction while not perfect is a step up from WotoG despite sharing a lot of themes.
There's a fuckton of spiders, nerubians and vampires.
There's really strong cards like spreading plague that are challenged by old niche cards like PW:horror.

I try to think about it, but here is my line of thoughts: In order to play Khul you would need valuable demons to play, despite the fact that I don't see lots of demons worth it, playing only one of them per deck is not enough strong. I would prefer betting on double demons and putting Khul aside.

Turn 5 doomsayer + treachery for 100% board clear

Unwilling sacrifice is to proc some deathrattles while managing his board.

Bane of doom gives you additionnal demons for Gul Dan DK

gnomeferatu isn't going to work in regular control warlock. it only really matters if you hit fatigue, and warlock does not win the fatigue game unless you never tap. otherwise, seems fun and I'll probably attempt something similar.

You don't force a lower curve by picking shitty 2 mana 2/2s. Sometimes you get offered shitty early game so you don't pick it, sometimes you get offered a lot of good 2s so you pick them.

Concerning Gnome, here is a line of thought i've been shitposting on everyboard:

Okay so let's talk about stats right now.
Most of the decks include from 2 to 5 legendaries within their decks.
furthermore you would have up to 15 rare + Epic
and something like 13 to 8 Common cards.
On these 18 commons let's just take in count that 25% of them are important to a deck.

that would make, in average, 3 Legendaries, 10 Epics + Rare, and 17 common.

That's is still 50% cards that you would be happy to see burned.

And these are low odds.

Take Paladin Murloc for example (hsreplay .net/decks/YA2EYfXBTO6H9s7piVCE5c/) :
- 4 Legendaries
- 14 Epics + Rares
- 12 Commons with only 4 I don't find good to burn (Dread Corsair and Blessing are not that good).

That still makes up to 26 cards which are a real pleasure to burn.

That is why this card is good, most of the time, you'll have a 50/50 that this burn will be valuable

Now I have to add that I would personnaly take, whatever the odds, a card that says ''Battlecry, destroy a card''

this whole line of thinking is flawed, though. it would feel good to see an important card get burned by gnome, but unless the opponent draws or burns their entire deck, it's functionally identical to that card just being on the bottom of their deck (it's just as likely for the card to be on top and burned, as it is for the card to be on/near bottom and never drawn).

I like gnomeferatu and all, but as is she needs a dedicated mill deck (that doesn't really have support right now) or a really specific situation to actually be good in warlock.

So how will the packs work? WIll it be like c'thun and well get a starter kit for one death knight? Oh wait we didn't even get that for quests LUL

someone saw this earlier, it's a bug and you can't actually craft them. when you craft and leave the card screen without hitting undo, it tells you it fucked up and you need to relog to get your dust back.

I think if it's the fact that you get a card that needs synergy early on you have a chance that it will synergize better. everything but the earliest cards you can tell if you'd want that card based on synergy, now synergy cards aren't as much of a mix up or just dead picks

That's because there's no "white race", it's a collection of ethnies that aren't coloured.
Hell, just in one medium country like France you have 6 to 8 different white ethnies, all with disctinct phenotypical structures.
"white race" is as broad a statement as putting the asians the the africans in the same basket.

Token Druid and Token Shaman are so fucking lame.

Every turn they vomit a swarm of bullshit onto the board, and if you have no AOE, you lose the game. Or they play an 8/8 and if you have no hard removal, you lose the game.

The entire game is decided by whether or not you've drawn 4-6 cards in your deck, at the right times, in the first 5-6 turns.

Arena sure is fun.
