The fuck? You get around 1200 XP for each match (no premium time or bonus) which takes ~6 minutes. That's 1.5 nodes per 10 min and 15 per hour. So in total (91 nodes) 6 hours for one mech, give or take one hour for potato fluctuantion.
How does playing 6 hours take one month? That's one evening at best.
Or just buy a Grasshopper which is infinitely better.
3A is probably the WORST Grasshopper, simply because it doesn't do anything that another heavy doesn't already do better.

No, the Timber Wolf is completely average at best now. The other clan heavies except the Night Gyr are all better than it these days, and the Night Gyr would still be if Gauss/PPC ghost heat wasn't linked.
It should not be the most sluggish of them when it has the largest engine in them, an engine that is actually a disadvantage to take in MWO. Mobility is what the TBR is built around and not having it is retarded.
Also if you think the Timber Wolf was OP in the last year you are flat out wrong. Prior to skilltree it was nowhere near overperforming, with multiple mechs being a better choice over it in many roles. Even IS mechs.

Name an IS Heavy with worse mobility than the TBR. If by some chance you're able to do that, a tall order because even the BK, Orion and Marauder have it beat, compare how much tonnage is invested in its engine vs the TBR. It dedicates over a third of its tonnage to an engine you cannot change. There is no reason it is not more mobile.
