So basically, it's a good idea to get a couple of full stack armies as quickly as is economically viable so that you can absorb factions into your confederation as quickly as possible.

Total war has to be the most boring game to spectate. I cannot think of a game that is worse to watch. In order to be exciting the streamer would have to make quick, decisive decisions and play battles in a cinematic way while also winning them. And we all know only betas play total war.

Fantasy should have opened the door to give the player more freedom and more cool mechanics on account of the fact that the devs don't have to take reality into account. It was the poor design decisions that squandered that potential.
