>FortNite crafting weapon costs for first tier weapons, traps.

First for don't fall for the jews

Ever since I did that bugged rare hero reward limited time quest, none of my limited time quests have given or even displayed their (!) extra rewards. The fuck is this shit?

Just buy some upgrade llama, friend. They might go gold!

...

Its so easy to bug chyna shop and just run around getting resources as everything gets insta destroyed. Wish i had known about it earlier

Give me the deets

It's all added together. Having 100% or more Recoil makes your gun fire like a laser with no kick. If you want dead-on accuracy with every shot, then Recoil is your go to stat.

For the user asking about Recoil.

Constructor with bull rush

Outlander with Chyna Shop support bonus (makes bull rush break things like the outlander ability anti material charge)

Bull rush something weak with a wall behind it, a lot of the time it bugs out and you keep the effect.

You can now run around and everything "weak" trees, stones, fences, bushes, fire hydrants and so on will insta break when you run into them. If you run into something "strong" walls, cars etc. It will stop working and you have to reapply it.

Its extremely useful

Constructor truly is the patrician class

Anyone here know how well the cross play works for this game also is it possible to do stuff solo or is it all co-op?

Most missions you'll be thrown into a lobby with three other people, it's mostly a team based game (even though some systems don't promote team play). Your home base is where you can play solo if you wish.

I'm pretty sure cross-play is not a thing or its not a thing for PC

Over all the game is pretty easy as long you know what your doing so its very possible to solo a lot of stuff even with lower end gear but the rate husks come at for a lot of the missions are to slow to worry about.

Sentinel Hype is my wife.

How would you fix the progression/loot issues?

Missions give upgrade llamas

currently the main thing is right now if they all possible loot blueprints was removed from llama's there is not much else they could stuff the llama's with skins could be a thing but I'm not sure if that really works then again I never cared about skins in these games even for "heros" I like. what could be a alright idea is that they give the mini llams's better drops giving them 2 greens 1 grey or 1 blue 1 green and one grey on it going sliver it droping 2 blues 1 green.

There is PC Xbox cross play, but take longer for xbox to get patches so sometimes there is a version mismatch and they cant crossplay while that is going on

Throw it in the dumpster out back. Create new addicting loot system that keeps free-to-play players never wanting to stop playing for chances at sick loot. Add cosmetic items to cash shop to let people be snowflakes. Treat the game like PSO2 and roll in that dough.

Also, make sure to add in some kinda survival mode or raid bosses or whatever. Fuck if I know. Too lazy to think up more shit.

Keep V-Bucks as the "premium" currency but Llamas are now earned through chests or doing well on a mission. V-Bucks are now used on things like XP boosters, XP Packs, Hero skins (like a Mariachi Sentinel Hype for example), Resource packs (Pure Drops of Rain/Lightning in a Bottle), and Super Llamas. Mini and Upgrade Llamas can now be found by simply playing the game.

You can now upgrade Hero/Trap/Weapon Rarity/Re-roll Weapon perks via Transformation.

Storm-shield base now has infinite resources and no longer takes anything out of your Mission resource pool. As a flip side, you keep nothing from Missions. This is to stop the somewhat selfish way the game is played now where no one really wants to spend resources on Missions and saves everything for their Home Base and also make it so players don't need to constantly go back to missions to farm resources if they don't really want to.

1. Fix mission contribution → chest bullshit so that it actually makes sense. Stuff like plat medals actually giving more bar than gold medals. Doing like 90% of the things should give you second best chest. Doing perfect, everything done, all bonus met, plat medals, gives you bestest chest.
2. Top two chests have a chance to give you (upgrade?) llama. Probably 20%/50% or something.
3. Release the drop tables for all llamas to public.
4. ~1% chance for item 'drops' from chests/etc to instead be schematics.

I could think of a few other things too, but balancing those, and even the above listed stuff, is the actual hard part.

What we really really need is the ability to sort of "target" the things we want. In D2 if you wanted to find a specific set or unique item, you farmed in areas where that base item could drop, or had the highest chance to drop.
That and/or the ability to trade schematics would be nice. Perhaps make it so that traded schematics can't be traded again, to prevent friends swapping something constantly like a town bike.

>tfw you booked Legendary Knox and your scrap book went up 3 levels

Feels good

How did I do?

>booked Legendary Knox

No regrets.

Too bad all of the Collection's book rewards after Lv13 are absolute shit and not worth the effort.

I got some skill points and an upgrade llama that gave me a Legendary Lead Survivor. I was never going to play him anyway.

Lv26 gives you 500 vbucks. I can't see anything to want above that though. There needs to be a proper list somewhere, the ones I find via google are full of wrong things.

>legendary troll loot truck llama
>gon b gud
>...

There's a reason it's called the Troll truck user :^)

You got trolled

>Husky Husks utterly fuck Decoy up

Damn, kind of makes me want to go back to Penny.

Ditched this game for POE, progression becomes too hard without having mates to help you with base defenses. If there's one thing I hate it's a game forcing me to interact with other human beings on my free time. Don't worry, might come back later if I feel like it.

You did okay.

>complaining about getting Legendary Centurion Cutiecat

Storm defenses suck when you're trying to get other players to help you its required that those players hit the LFG thing at the same time as you are searching for people, there needs to be a tab that says you're willing to wait indefinitely for a random storm defense mission, that will ensure a healthy pool of people willing to defend.

No.. the other two..

Damn I wanted Wildcat not bad.

>complaining about getting 2 solid support and tactical bonuses

>if a other troll truck showed up people drop money on it again

Yeah, i guess i can't complain.. although i really do enjoy my epic urban assault headhunter, not sure if i'm ready to give her up for Wildcat just yet.

you could've been me

I had a little over 3k V-Bucks saved up, so I got two and got shit. If you spent real money on those Llamas please reconsider your life. As a community we can't berate Epic for such a shitty pay model then the moment something good comes along immediately buy into.

If you want to play solo, Constructor is the best class for it. You have to work harder for success though; level your defenders so they're actually useful, I give my sniper gal one of my legendaries and she mows down Smashers like a joke. Base setup is also a big part of it, having proper trap setups and using the environment to your advantage can really help (Ex: Setup a path near a cliff that's relatively open to the objective so mobs are enticed to walk through it, line it with pushers so they're constantly knocked down and never make it to you, range down any problem enemies that could threaten the structures before they reach it [such as the explosive fucks].)

Basically you win with your only worry being lobbers, flingers, and other ranged fuckwits, but the brunt of the tide is stemmed. It's difficult later on like when you have more advanced mission objectives like the escorting ones but doable.

You can play classes besides Constructor and accomplish similar, but constructors with BASE and upgrades for it (like the structure HP regen for example), as well as the reduced resource cost for builds... Really cuts back on your need to farm and defend so feverishly each match.
TL;DR - If you wanna solo easily: Learn the A.I. pathing behavior, Main Constructor, Keep shit upgraded, Build smart.

Or just make some friends.

t-thanks?

It's futile. You're recommending suggestions into an endless void. People will continue to throw their wallets at the screen. Epic isn't going to change a damn thing in regards to this, because it makes them money.

Enjoy playing and watch the ship crash n burn OR be an outside observer that gets pleasure once the game kills over from these business practices.

>there's a Toshiro Mifune reference mythic survivor card

fuck me, now I have to spend x00 dollars to roll him

survivor/schematic trade system when?

>Falcon
>And deadye
Follow your destiny

I only got legendary survivors and a shitty trap with my 2 packs. So yes you had quite good drops.

Gimme the stats on that Falcon.

>had the vbucks saved up to buy both trolls the other day
>didn't bother checking the stats on a leg shotgun I rolled because shotguns are, overall, shitty
>glanced at it earlier today just because legendary
y-you too? jesus

Here you go.

I'm dumb, is this a good roll or shit?

when he levels it to the crit chance level, it should be a fucking monster

raw damage is shit, but the crit damage and crit chance are really good

nature is ehh

So close, still really solid specially on that pistol outlander.

>raw damage is shit
Why? that makes no sense

Finally reached Canny Valley

Its not actually raw damage, well it is but its based on your own offense points or some shit and not on the actual weapon.

So lets say you got 10% more damage which is pratically nothing based on your stats alone.

man that's so misleading, everyone will obviously assume it's % of the weapon

10% damage is actually +10 offense
Which a fucking survivor could beat

Have they commented on whether that's intended or not?

>Epic communicating about things we care about
No.

of course they haven't

If they don't make big changes in the 1.5 patch I'll likely just drop the game all-together. Which is actually going to be pretty hard for me because this game was not on my radar at all and my friend told me about it. Bought the $40 edition and damn near fell in love with it instantly. But I just can't fathom being progress gated by RNG gacha shit and support them.

It does exactly what it says it does. There's no need for confirmation or comment. It increases the damage by 10%. The assumption that weapon rolls would be multiplicative with other sources of +damage% instead of additive it just that, an assumption. And in this case it's not a correct one.

Despite receiving less relative returns the more damage+ you already have, the damage roll is not shit. You're still getting the exact same absolute increase in damage from Damage+20% at 200 offense as you are at 400 offense. And crit chance is only definitely better if you're talking about average damage over time against an infinite hp target.
Consider a situation where you can 1 or 2 shot husks when you have +dmg, but you will leave them at 5-10% hp unless you crit if you instead had +crit chance.

Basically, jump for joy if you get crit chance and crit damage. But don't cry if you get damage. Something like recoil on a bolt action sniper is where you cry.

Our current situation gives me flashbacks to August 2016. This better not be a new annual trend, i don't like it at all.

the text is extremely misleading, it should say "+20 offense" instead of "+20% damage"

Oh good, it wasn't just me.

Which trap did you get, user? Floor planks with nails for me. ;_;

Legendary ceiling traps with ONLY max durability rolls

Soldier > Ninja > Constructor > Outlander

Outlander brings nothing of value to a team, only to themselves, and there's no reason to have a Constructor when you could have another Soldier actually doing something while the team shares the burden of building.
Ninja compliments Soldier in their respective roles, Ninja Dragon Blades and bursts down creep waves while Soldiers kill Special Husks.
The 'Ninja is bad' meme is perpetuated by shit players who project their skill and frustration at a lack thereof as some kind of standard.
This is objective, there is no need to respond.

Tell me, what exactly is misleading about "Damage+20%" increasing your damage by 20%?
If you changed it to say +Offense instead, then THAT would be misleading. Because it will not increase your damage when you have the wep equipped but not out.

but 20 offense is +20% damage

it's literally the same thing

>Ninja > Constructor

Because it's a Weapon roll and not a stat roll. How are you even able to know that it means % offense damage on not weapon damage when it's a roll on the weapon? Nowhere does it say it's % on your offense , if they wanted you to know it was % offense it should say "% offense damage"

the fact that it is a stat on a piece of equipment causes players to very reasonably assume it's a local increase to the base damage of the weapon, which is then multiplied by your offense stat

no reasonable player would look at that and think "this is 20% more overall damage as calculated on the character level"

every reasonable player would look at that and think "this is a 20% damage increase TO THE WEAPON" which your character's bonuses then apply to

that's why it's misleading and needs to be changed

if you're trying to tell me that (pre-discovery/publicizing of this knowledge) you looked at a weapon card and BY DEFAULT assumed that "+20% damage" applied to the character and not the weapon's base damage, then you're a fucking liar

please don't be something good, I don't want to have to buy more coins

You sound very confused. It does increase the damage of the weapon by 20%. It doesn't increase the damage of anything else.
Why would you think that it increases the damage of the weapon after it's been modified by offense?

Melee Llama.

You are the reason this game is bad and you should feel bad. I hope you won't have a great day.

you're safe

stop being fucking pedantic, we both know the point of confusion (very reasonably so) is that a stat existing ON a piece of equipment is, in 99.999% of cases, local to that piece of equipment, and modifies that equipment's stats before any other global modifiers kick in

that is how every fucking game EVER does shit

name literally one game

diablo 1, diablo 2, path of exile, borderlands 1, borderlands 2, to name a very few

just admit they're using ass-backwards logic and need to specify that +damage on weapons is not really +damage in the way that literally everyone assumes +damage works because that's the way it's always worked everywhere else

why the fuck are you so defensive about this? are they threatening to cut your paycheck if you lose arguments or something?

all the fallout games, the baldur's gate games, torchlight 1 and 2, any/all ARPGs ever, hell, fucking WoW

>there's no reason to have a Constructor when you could have another Soldier actually doing something while the team shares the burden of building.

Because constructors can only build, right?
They don't have the same guns as all the other classes, can't stack damage on tough enemies alongside soldiers debuffs, they certainly don't have the 4 most interesting active skills in the game, and they aren't the best class to deal with enemies near walls or keep bases repaired in combat.

No instead let's all be soldiers who build structures slower possibly with less HP and live on a razors edge where a wall breaking could mean the end of a mission in seconds.

I am fucking ashamed you genuinely think ninjas have more team value than constructors.

to be fair, there's much better crowdclearing synergy between a soldier+ninja than a soldier+constructor, and teams need a soldier to effectively clear anything higher tier

2 soldiers gives you proper coverage as they can each take 180 degrees - that leaves 2 slots

in build-heavy endurance missions like the bullshit shelter runs, absolutely bring a constructor to fortify the fuck out of things

most of a time a couple of ninjas or another soldier is more than sufficient, since any class can slap up a few walls and traps

BZZzzzzzz whats the matter user? :)

Pure honesty, anons.
Nerfing bees will remove the last bit of difficulty this game has right now.

I've only seen people die to bees, laser husks, and rare propane explosions

I think that's reasonable but I'd argue that 2 soldier, 1 ninja, and 1 constructor is the most effective in any mission where you protect an objective.
Especially if the constructor can bring a BASE.

Dunno what kind of slop ninja's you donks are running into but I always do the most damage.

Is this worth lvling?

lil bee mission

Why ninjas in a zombie game though.

Its a slug snipey semi auto gun, it might be decent

>giving a shit about a green anything
Costs far too many resources to craft a blue.

I had 3 last night in 1 mission and one was cool and gathered bluglo while I built the fort and then they were good in the defense.
The other two stood around doing next to nothing on the other side of the map nearly dying any time 4 or more enemies found them and during the defense they hid inside the base occasionally jumping out to melee 2 husks and almost dying to poison lobber clouds.

It's always a mixed bag when you play with pubs.

Is there any point at all to melee weapons that aren't swords/hardware?

A few ninjas don't need to use swords specifically and instead need to just do edged damage for stuff like shadow stance.
Axes/Scythes work pretty well for that and most of the time have a larger reach than swords.

To specify, is my cool bat totally useless or is there a class that can actually take advantage of it

>tfw constructor's kinetic overdrive used to apply to the bat
>Was pretty much god tier for constructor
>lel only hardware now!

>can't even use it with dim mak because she requires edged weapons
this game absolutely loathes fun
