2dr version is cheap, get one before they go up in value like 2dr Range Rovers.

90s land rovers will bankrupt you long before they become classics worth anything substantial

>1995 Black Range Rover Classic SWB
>$38,500.00

Neither were available as NAS

Tfw it already is in Michigan.

They're over 25 years old.

>This vehicle has been thoroughly refurbished and is ready for its new owner.
they did all the work for you and want to get paid for it ya knob

...

i'm sorry, but 90's cars just look ghetto to me. even the good ones

i agree with that when talking about the weird smooth lines 90s cars. but i love 90s boxy gook cars like the legend

>tfw australia never got the eclipse
I know they're not mechanically the best, but fuck me I do want an awd one.

E36 M3 had a recent major rise in value for decent examples
I'd say most 90s BMWs are modern classics

those things are so incredibly hideous

...

I feel like it'll be a little niche car that people will appreciate

>and I want one so bad

post an example of what you think looks good

Terminators will be worth their weight in gold

...

Nothing in its class will ever come even close

Scion xB and xA
Crown Vics but that's not for a very long time
Also Marauder, Town Car, Grand Marqis
MR2 Spyder, 3rd generation
Celicas especially the AWD Turbo models
Preludes (already starting to become one)
Various Buick Landgarges
Dodge SRT4 Neon
Foxbody Mustangs
Old Supras
3000GT
300zx (Z31 and Z32 especially if turbo manual)
350Z
Unmolested First Gen miata
FRS/BRZ/GT86 in a far enough future

Pretty much anything that is manual and/or has RWD

>MR2 Spyder, 3rd generation
Why anyone would buy a car with taillights as large as an elephant's foot worries me.

One of the last true american cars. RWD V8 land barge

2004 wrx sti
sti hatchback
Lancer Evolution

i want to go back to the 90s. i hate being with you autists

Oldsmobile Aurora (first gen)

>now-orphan marque
>G Body
>Northstar V8
>dem taillights

Edgy af, colour coordinated fuzzy dice 10/10

When it depreciates to 10k, 987 caymans and boxsters will be the official boyracer car.

That said, 2009-2014 caymans with the PDK will appreciate very fast. They have the PDK AND a flat 6 engine; the newer ones don't.

These will only be future classics because of the rarity of them 93-96 regal gran sport. Can't find them anymore

...

Geo/Chevy/Suzuki Metro

the last Gasoline, naturally aspirated, simplistic, minimalist car to achieve 45-50+ mpg

good Luck finding one without rust or 300k+ miles

RARE

these are pretty cool and came with a dohc 3.4 v6

these are pretty rare and were tuned by mclaren they have a turbo charged 3.1 v6 with pushrods

...

I sure hope so my dude

>posts the shittiest gen of the Riviera

My vote goes to the 852, the coupe version of the 850 and predecessor to the C70.

>people posting hideous Chrysler and GM FWD landbarges that weren't desirable when new
Cranky has great advice for you guys.

They might be hideous but they ride nice.

was gonna post this.

Crown Vic and it's sisters Town Car and Grand marquis are definitely future classics

>taillights
how about dem headlights?
look at that sexy front end

>G Body
They are already high because Grand National and Hurst/Olds.

>Amazing 90s looks
>Weird
>Regularly being killed for the flat 6 engine (as far as i heard)
>Only needs a manual transmission exchange and its great.

Ive heard the engines in these were a pain to work on and not terribly reliable

dont these have glass automagics?

hmm dont know about that. i only always hear, that the transmission is absolute garbage and always had problems.
but i can imagine that the engine is ard to work on too, since its a boxer and all the important stuff is at the sides of the engine.

A mint PT cruiser will be worth a lot some day.

I really want one simply because of how cool it looks, but I have no way or knowledge to actually fix it or find parts for it

The FWD and RWD G Body platforms are not the same. IIRC, the "new" G body platform wasn't introduced until the mid 90's.

ford ranger

The transmission wasn't garbage, there was just a design flaw that would cause clogs and premature failures. If you removed a mesh screen from the transmission fluid system, they would run fine.

Suzuki Swift because rust and unloved by most.

She aint perfect but better than average.

Without a doubt the Lincoln Mark VIII, 4.6l DOHC v8, coupe, rwd, can easily be made to do 350-400rwhp.
Even seen some with 5 speed/6 speed manual t45s.

Plus is an American landbarge

So post one you think is better

>corrado
>not already a classic
what rock u living under mate

Unironically this. Not many of these things were built. I think the number was about 150k in the first generation compared to the millions of silverados and suburbans. Not to mention they were innovative and interesting cars. Mine is a first year Z66 less than 1k of these were made. Also, these trucks are being picked up by mexicans who can haul all their kids to school then use the long bed on the same truck. They abuse the shit out of them and these poor things are showing up in the junkyard in bigger and bigger numbers

What is the difference between z66 and z71? post pics of weird back seat/extended bed thing.

ah the avalanche, the start of the modern SUV/Pickup family and work combo

The Z71 is the offroad tune. The package has 4x4 heavy duty shocks and stronger control arms. The Z66 is 2wd sport suspension and towing. It comes with load leveling shocks stronger sway bars stronger drive shaft and stronger brakes. The thing actually handles very well and is secure on the mountain. The z66 package was exclusive to the avalanche and was discontinued due to poor sales because everyone opted for the Z71 because they were the same price

nifty. ever find yourself wishing for 4x4?

last of the lincoln mark series too.

>landbarge

the post 70's marks werent landbarges, they were sporty personal coupes. at least mark 7 was. 8 was somewhere in between

Never had a need for it not to mention the thing would GM squeak and rattle the entire time. Also, midgate pics incoming

The tonneau cover was standard from factory

And this is my personal favorite configuration. I can store a literal half ton of stuff in the back without issue

I still see a lot of these on the road

That will change in 10 years

>live in windsor
>can't find one in all of ontario under 300,000k

are they not good?

This tbqh. I want to buy one but they're all so beat up around me.

>faster than the MX-5
>FWD
>V6
>Japan model has 4-wheel steering
>Ford Probe
>Luxury for days

Ahead of it's time, honestly. Nothing else was competing with it in the FWD market, unless you count the shitty Preludes.

My nigga

Fifth-generation Mustangs are the best Mustangs.

You forgot FWD. REJECTED.

Everything FWD is shitty you dolt.

>Nothing else was competing with it in the FWD market, unless you count the shitty Preludes.
Celicas and Eclipses?

I don't think they're as premium oriented as the MX-6, but there are some really nice non-Japanese FWD coupes like the Volvo C70 (reliability issues notwithstanding).

But the bed is short and all the plastic bits fade and look bad

C70s are such odd cars. Really sleek rear and then that boxy V70 front end out of nowhere.
Also maybe Audi Coupes or VW Corrados for other MX-6 competitors, although I think they're slightly smaller.

>FWD is inherently bad
When will bus-riders stop spreading this meme?

They are great cars but i dont see anyone making any real effort to keeping them on the road. To many people its just another SUV

I don't know if C70's will become desirable classics, but the prices have hit rock bottom and they can only go up. If there's anyone that has been lusting for one of these, now is definitely the right moment.

The bed can be extended by opening the midgate. And fair point on the plastic. I gave up on it and it looks acceptable when the fade is even

Eh, i bought a beat to shit p71 for $600 and restored it, if you can put the time in it really shows.

>literally a Tahoe with a bed
Kill yourself

This... You can tell it'll be a classic just the way they hold their value .

awesome. that's a great configuration.
>muh truck because this is an image board

not mine but hsv's already are classics

As an SVX owner of 9 years now, I can atest these have a good chance of being a future classic. As far as reliability, trans are shit but the motor is great. One of the most reliable subaru ever made. And working on them can be a pain depending on what you are doing.

this thing looks rad

EVERYTHING WAS RAD IN THOSE DAYS YOU COULD WATCH PORN ON CABLE THE IMAGE WAS ALL FUCKED BUT YOU COULD HEAR THE AUDIO AND USE YOUR IMAGINATION AND MAYBE CATCH A GLIMPSE OF THE PICTURE WHEN IT CAME IN SOMEWHAT CLEAR

Undeniable that these will be highly collectible. There's already a market surge in demand for them. The fact that hardly anyone makes a proper BOF, RWD SUV anymore only adds to their luster.

CHECK OUT THE Lincoln Mark VIII YOU NIGGER

>tfw you will never bust another nut to a scrambled tiddy at 2:00am while frantically watching the living door and listening for footsteps
