Let them find out for themselves and then if they still insist on seeing something that's clearly not in the game, then treat them like the other delusional groupies. Rachel and Chloe will have some romantic development, but it never becomes a real relationship. Also the prequel is supposed to be the start of their friendship so I doubt you will even see Chloe fully realize what her feelings for Rachel are, unless there's some form of timeskip. I don't think it was a wise idea to say there would be multiple endings and choices but it was a selling point of the first game so they couldn't resist using it again. People need to realize that the game is in the past and we already now the future outcomes.

they creating gay panic by themselves,however,in-game there were obvious telltale signs that characters in love with each other and it was slowly growing you don't even read journal to see but if you dumb enough to see obvious hints then journal is there for you to interpret things from Max's pov. and literally 0 interactions after can be count as gal pal actions, because blue haired girl was harboring crush on Max and Max was having crazy week and realizing what was she feeling. didn't developer put this nightmare thing into this game and made Max question her feeling by bringing up love word no matter if you got kiss or not? yes they did.
for Rachel and Chloe's relationship, ambiguous thing was if Rachel responded those feelings.. but solid thing was Chloe had crushed on Rachel. what does that mean? you can't change Chloe's feelings towards Rachel, or you can't stop running after Rachel because that'd make everything happened in LiS meaningless. and that was pretty much obvious

for me, it was one of the opening scenes, after you get through Mr. Jefferson's lesson and you finish talking to him, max leave the class and walk into the hall and plug in her headphones, and the voices around her fades. at this moment the music played and I began to explore the atmosphere I knew this game was going to be amazing and that's what made me fell in love with it.

I've lost hope too. I know some people are going forget all about Max and what she did for Chloe, and talk trash about her. Saying "Chloe loves Rachel" , while forgetting that Rachel wasn't into Chloe, and then justifying the Bay Ending because "Then they get to be together" (Pretty much Jefferson's mocking words to Max in the Dark Room after he killed Chloe). Or because if they ship Chloe and Rachel, then that leaves Max for Warren or someone else. I don't have a problem with crackshipping, but I have a problem when it's defended as if it's something more. When the feelings of the characters themselves are disregarded because the player wants to project their own desires onto them. It taints discussions about the game.
At least I know /lisg/ will always remain faithful and attentive. It has for over two years and as long as the core of rationality remains then things will be fine.

Only this lead-writer Garriss talked reasonably (while explaining that choice.. with Rachel) he said it was kind of choice like what does she voice Rachel? so her feelings not changing, not so player depenant. remember from first game, when you are avoiding from some action and Max was stating her regret,her wish to do it again in her journal and interpreation results as indepenant from player's action eventually. so same thing will happen with Chloe too,in her letters we are going to find out.
