How do I force Shrieker fight? I had one (not the event one) recently and got a shitton of my trinkets back. So, assuming I'm a perverted kind of a guy and want to minmax his quirk on some hero, how can I force this mission to appear?

Do I throw out trinkets in loads? Do I send guys with trinkets to their doom? How many trinkets do I have to lose, 'till the mission can appear?

I typed in garbo trinkets because you really dont need to go full madman and ditch all the good stuff, just buy some trinkets from the gypsie wagon and youl be fine.

These heroes all laid down their lives in defense of the hamlet, but they did manage to slaughter the villain Vvulf so he'll not plague our town again. Just wish they could've pulled through so I could have gotten a trinket or two, but ah well.

Personally I see it as more of a "You've done your best, now go the fuck home and actually live" sort of thing.

Vvulf appear like two weeks after I got 4 level 5 heroes. The MaA was level 4, but I sent him anyways. I haven't had a chance to fully upgrade the blacksmith or the guild, so everyone was rolling with level 4 equipment and skills. I said "Fuck it," and just decided to go for it instead of sacrificing one of my lower guys. MaA got afflicted before we even made it to Vvulf, and things just kind of spiralled downward from there.

That makes sense. I think I was just turned off the idea because the narrator makes it sound like you're casting them out - an interpretation colored by his own malice, of course.

I dunno that I was overconfident, it was that my choices were to sacrifice a level 2 or 3 hero and hope I could dodge Vvulf for a couple weeks to level up the MaA and hopefully get a few upgrades, or go all in and try and do it for real with what I had on hand. I did actually kill Vvulf, remember, just died to the bandits that were left. And even though I lost all my best trinkets, the shrieker showed up right afterwards and I stood my ground against her for the four rounds to get 'em back.

You can try the skeleton mods for Arbelist and M@A, as far as I know most of their battle sprites are from the enemy as well.. not all though they still have standard idle sprites but for instance a bone skin arbelist has the attack and hurt animation from bone enemy arbelist
