Playing Dzemael Darkhold as a Lv44 SCH is fucking suffering. The tank trying to do big pulls after the second boss especially hurt. Even with everything I could do they kept dying until the herd thinned a little.

At least you got some comms. I rarely ever get any in DF these days. Pre SB I used to get them all the time. Even the tank rarely comms the healer anymore and tanks now play worse than they ever have.

That's an interesting observation. I don't remember much about comms from 2.0, but I came back for 4.0, and it's all over the place, but generally the healer gets the comms. That said, with the influx of new players they don't know what a comm is, so you have to work extra hard because of them fucking up, deal with super long runs, only to get no thanks in the end.

This is why people hate dealing with new players and why Duty Finder was a mistake.

Balmung is still the largest RP server, with Mateus as the "backup" server

if you're doing progression stuff then yeah rdm is way more desireable
you should tell them you're want to play blm on fights you have on farm though since people should be more comfortable and not dying as much plus you'd know the fights more and thus be capable of maximising your blm play

their main aoe skill got buffed by like 30 potency, they now also have hellfire frog and TCJ doton
their aoe is probably the best out of the melee dps

Monk and Dragoon still out damaged NIN in AOE even after the DB buff back in 3.x.

Now it's not even a contest, NIN blows all of them away.

There's no reason why people shouldn't know what they're doing in 61-70 dungeons though. I commonly get tanks that do big pulls, followed by instantly switching to their DPS stance. No wipes, no comms at the end. It certainly isn't fun to deal with either.

Depending on the level of the dungeon
>15 to 59 prepare your butt pulls will be drawned out and extremely long if the tank made a big pull the healer will cry
>60 and above big pulls are advised have them pull as much as they can so both of the SMNs if they are with a damn use their burst after the round up. The pull will still be drawned out by being locked behind a minute timegate especially in after sirensong sea well into 70
