I've never seen anyone hype up Redman or UBW. Pretty sure it's accepted fact that he's not very good until he gets his strengthening quests, and then even when he does he's not great for difficult content (though the crit buff is really nice).

GoB has access to almost everything, meaning it can pull out whatever the opponent is weak to and just kill them that way. UBW on the other hand, while having a vast storage, is much more limited. The only time it can be compared to GoB is when it's going up against GoB itself, because whatever GoB pulls out, UBW will replicate.

Oh. Then I've still never seen anyone hyping it up. It's explicitly stated in the VN - and even the anime - that UBW is only good specifically against Gil. Nasu has stated in an interview that it would be little more than a minor annoyance for most servants.
