I have a 144hz monitor with a 1070, I see the game middle around 80-90 FPS at medium-high settings, it can go up to ~100 during low intensity moments.
This game is not that optimized yet sadly. My recommendation is to just lower the setting to however much to can handle and be happy you can hit 60.

I think FPP drastically exaggerates how poor the directional audio is for incoming ballistics. It was always bad, but at least in TPP it was much easier to spin and do a scan of your surroundings. In FPP you can't see incoming rounds and impacts half the time and the audio is just constantly changing directions.

Drop someplace that has loot but isn't filled with people the way school is. Quality of loot matters much more than quantity so just being someplace where you can get a rifle of some sort and hopefully a scope is paramount. If you can kill somebody else and pool your loot with theirs you're in an ideal situation. From there you should think about getting a car to get closer to the inner circles. If you're lucky this won't be necessary.
Sometimes players will be too busy looting to watch their car, so you can often just sneak up on them and steal it. While not killing them may seem cowardly, why would you deny the blue its share of the kills?

Dota2 has also gotten pretty bad with cosmetics giving minor advantage, and gameplay being locked behind paywalls. This shit kills games, Dev time gets allocated to bloat up the games resources with hats, since that makes more money than any sort of gameplay patch. Game runs worse, Game plays worse, everyone loses money but the devs who make millions.

CS:GO might actually be the best.
Only real issue is the autists jerking it over their knife skins.

There's multiple "map skins" that will change the map to look different, however in some cases this makes it easier to see things. One map actually changed the hitboxes for trees.
Some hats change entire color schemes and silhouettes. Which I guess you can deal with by remembering every single hat in the game, but that seems hardly acceptable.
