What is the best front license plate holder for european plates?
I got sent some european license plates from overseas relatives and I want to attatch one to my front bumper. My state doesn't require front plates, and also I don't want to drill holes. Thinking of using 3M double sided molding tape.
I searched online and found some on amazon for $20 but there are others for way cheaper on ebay around $8. I just don't think I should pay $20 + shipping for a piece of shit plastic, neither do I want to deal with some shady Ukrainians on ebay.
I also considered attatching to the lower grill, so when I get some kind of holder I can use zip ties and fishing line instead.
Shouldn't cause any issues right? Radiator is getting more than enough air up front.
The parking sensor is kind of in the way where the plates usualy go.

This is what I saw on amazon.

Put a big magnet in the inside of your bumper and maybe stick some metal on your plates. Or do that zip tie method you mentioned, it'll just look pretty stupid. Honestly I'd just stick it on the bumper with some tape without any license plate holder or anything like that.
What plates are those anyway? Polish?

Is that even legal? You'd still be driving around with another car's license plates

>can drive without plates >wants to drive with shitty gaudy euro plates that I see every day You wot m8
License plate holders are not allowed in most euro states (germany) because muh pedestrian safety. Not joking btw look it up.

I use double sided velcro directly on the plate

With BMW anyway, dunno about other manufacturers. >Excerpt BMW:
Impact: The mounting of this pad to the front bumper violates the approval requirement 74/483 EEC as it does not comply with the requirements for the protection of pedestrians. Extract from EC Directive 74/483: "No protruding part of the outer surface of the vehicle may have a radius of curvature less than 2.5 mm". The consequence would be the loss of the ABE homologation with considerable disadvantages in the dispute also for the BMW dealer. Affected vehicles: All models. Procedure: No installation of separate license plate pads on the front bumper.

I don't live in Europe, so it is legal for me. Also that law was repealed in 2014.
>Council Directive 74/483/EEC of 17 September 1974 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the external projections of motor vehicles >Date of end of validity: 31/10/2014; Repealed by 32009R0661
Better than putting stickers on my windshields. All I see around here is "Salt Life" stickers. It's rare but I always see some car with a front Euro plate.

this one OP, but it shouldn't cost 20 bucks. Here you can get two for 4 Euro

>shady Ukrainians on eBay I never had problems with Ukrainians on eBay. Get one with proper reviews and nothing can go wrong. Well, even if you don't have one with proper reviews you can always get a refund if you don't like what you got. eBay doesn't give a fuck.
Waiting 1 month for a package to arrive, only to have Olga tell you she was in hospital. Time for a refund, again...
Jaxson Thompson
people don't actually put these on their car do they
Mason Fisher
Probably not in Germany.
Brayden King

I known cars with their number plates attached with double-sided sticky tape. But I doubt that'll work on the grill.
My only suggestion is to rivet it to the car, like mine is but that's because I live in some poor, oppressed shit-hole European country (ie any of them) that dictates mandatory front registration plates.
