This has been tested hundreds of times, if you choose a reasonable budget, like $10. You end up with very similar engines, and the LS in most builds is slightly higher HP and Torque, even with the Coyote at higher revs.

Because drag racing is a big block game. It's pointless to make small engines go fast.

You can't call that an LS. It's based on one, but it's got almost 30% more displacement and it's clearly all custom billet; that's also BHP, so it's closer to 900 WHP, and that would be horrendously unstreetable
