I would think they're made with signal recievers since you would want them to explode at once and not in your hand
extra bonus if you make them explode with 1 second increments with assembly frames

how to quickly fix it:

it'll only stop rendering after a few seconds of the game appearing ( you can often see this by looking at the vents)
as soon as your game launches, spamclick the tabs on the info screen. the window will freeze up, but once it's stopped, the game will continue rendering. if it doesn't freeze up you were too late.

I had it self-sufficient. I found some plasma and could make monkeycubes from the biogen. I could have kept it going for hours. not to mention I got the mutation toxin and advanced mutation toxin routes on my first try. I was like 1 minute away from becoming permanently immune to plasmafloods.

I got a Xenoarch question. Sometimes, after I dig out a small artfiact from a site, I get another ping.

I keep the field up if its the same tpye, and change it if its different. And when I go back to clearing the sum then the overhead it breaks. Is this just RNG or is there sometime I need to do in between digs on one spot?

The thing is you already dug into the rock, so you have to tape measure, then do that big number - clearance then minus also what you already dug
