i learned really fast how to deal with dragunov, but spammy josies and laggy kings were my fucking bane until i started fighting a barrage of leos

most low rank josies are really predictable for when they come in for a low or use them in their strings so try low parrying them for big damage!

I still won all these games but I truly feel for new players, low green/blue is toxic as fuck.

Doesn't really matter. Bad players get out of there faster than intermediate players. It should take anyone who is not a pro level player awhile to get out of there if you are trying to learn instead of mash.

Just focus on learning how the game works rather than a meaningless rank.

You should be out of blue in around 70 or less wins if you're competent and put in the practice.

That means making your conversions muscle memory and mimicking how koreans play your character in neutral.

I play Asuka at the moment but think she might be better in the hands of someone who can move and poke better I'm not good at getting away from people to use my more defensive keep out moves well and once intense fast people can get close and or a life lead I'm pretty much done for.

Also, my last match I did was against a laggy king with a gun who did nothing but shoot, kick low and grab me and so I'm taking a break for today.

as many as it takes. blue/green/yellow doesn't mean shit, everyone is garbage still. i'm garbage, you're garbage, the other anons that replied to you are garbage. if you really wanted to, you could fly through blue in an hour doing nothing but sweeps and power crush. doesn't mean you learned a single thing by doing so. point is rank isn't a very good indicator of your skill until you get to higher ranks where people know how to play the game and you can't just abuse other people's inexperience to win

As others have said, there are so many variables.

You can easily get through blue ranks, and even greens by inputting the same canned low/mid mix-up strings with Josie or whoever over and over again. You'll learn nothing about movement, punishment or whiff punishment but you'll win plenty of matches because nobody will know her strings.
