Just split the 40 weapons into 3 GW, an average player should realistically get 2 gold bar in 3 GW anyway. If you started with 0 gold bar and want to 5* a new GW character, it should take you 3 GW.

just pick the weapon you want every time. I still have this many even after blowing 2 up.
