You know I just realized that Konami could finally give my favorite deck some support. But they make it so good that it ends up becoming an engine in another deck and then cards start getting banned.

Konami just likes to center all of a theme's power in one or two cards to make the deck easier to rotate out via banlist without having to hit 5-6 cards, which naturally also makes it easier to turn it into an engine.
Whenever they don't do this (Nekroz, Zoodiac) they end up having to ban half the deck and that just looks bad.

Eventually it may take some hits, but I like to think the the synergy ABC has with Link monsters will convince Konami of America to not hit the deck drastically.
